The Shadowhunters family sticks together at the 2016 New York Comic Con held at Javits Center in New York City on Saturday (October 8).

The cast — Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Matthew Daddario, Emeraude Toubia, Isaiah Mustafa and Harry Shum, Jr. — joined author Cassandra Clare as well as several producers on the panel to talk about the upcoming season, which they’re filming now.

Katherine McNamara and Emeraude Toubia hit the press room at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (July 31) in Inglewood, Calif.

The two Shadowhunters stars joined co-stars Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Harry Shum Jr., and Matthew Daddario at the annual show were they won Choice Breakout Show.

Matthew also picked up the surfboard for Choice TV: Breakout Star, beating out Katherine for the award!

Katherine McNamara steps out for the 2016 ABC Freeform Upfront held at Spring Studios on Thursday (April 7) in New York City.

The 20-year-old actress joined her Shadowhunters cast mates Emeraude Toubia, Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Isaiah Mustafa, Harry Shum, Jr., and Matthew Daddario.

“Still recovering from the @shadowhunterstv episode, but I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who made this dream a reality,” Katherine wrote in a thank you letter after the season finale on Instagram.

She continued, “From @cassieclare1 who wrote this story we bring to life each week to the producers @freeform and @constantinfilm for giving the tv show a life to the casting team who put together the incredible cast, to @mcgfilm and Ed Decter for being my rock this season and entrusting me with this fierce stubborn short ginger Shadowhunter to the writers for giving us the words and the path in which to grow these characters to the crew, the designers, and the team on set for their impeccable passionate and tireless work in bringing the show to life, to the cast for taking me under their wings and being a team in this endeavor and truly becoming a family – I am inspired by you every day.”

Katherine added, “Also, a very special thank you to all of you angels who have been there with your love, art, support, and predictions since day 1. You motivate us to make this show something special and I cannot wait to continue this journey into season 2.”

The 28-year-old Shadowhunters star attended with his co-star Harry Shum, Jr., Faking It’s Michael J. Willett and Derek Hough.

The 20-year-old actress – who appears alongside co-stars Dominic Sherwood, Matthew Daddario, Emeraude Toubia, Isaiah Mustafa, and Alberto Rosende – opened up to the glossy about the show.

“Shadowhunters is a dream job for me. What draws people into this story is how relatable these characters are,” Kat said. “They are growing up, falling in love for the first time, figuring out where their place is in the world, and what that means for their other relationships. The story strikes a nice balance between fantasy and reality, that is very alluring to me as an actor.”
