Demi Lovato is celebrating her 28th birthday TODAY (August 20)!
The “I Love Me” singer’s fiance Max Ehrich shared a sweet note, along with a gallery of photos, to celebrate her special day.
“words fall short baby. you light up this world & i am the luckiest man alive to call you my fiancé. i keep falling more in love with you & your pure heart & soul every moment. can’t wait to make endless memories with u & forever cherish you with all my heart. happy 28th, my angel @ddlovato 💘🎂🥳,” he wrote on Instagram.
Demi commented on the post, writing, “I love you SO much angel – thank you for the best memories and here’s to many more!!! 💗💗💗”
For her birthday, Demi is taking a stand to help bring justice for Breonna Taylor.
“Today is my 28th birthday… a birthday that Breonna Taylor will never have the opportunity to experience,” Demi shared on Instagram. “I’ve launched a special Propeller campaign in Breonna’s honor that includes prewritten letters to the Louisville mayor and chief of police, petition links, and donation links. No matter how big or small you think your impact may be, if we all stand together we can help bring justice for Breonna Taylor.”

While announcing their engagement, Max gushed about Demi in a super sweet Instagram post.

The 27-year-old singer announced on Wednesday (July 22) that the 29-year-old Young and the Restless actor has asked her to marry him.
“When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his ‘little partner’ – something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent,” Demi wrote on Instagram along with tons of photos of her new ring. “To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner.”
Demi and Max first went public with their relationship back in March and have been by each other’s side ever since.
“@maxehrich – I knew I loved you the moment I met you,” Demi continued. “It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself.
