The cast of the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch ’90s sitcom is sending their “best witches” to the new Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars!

Melissa Joan Hart, Nate Richert, Caroline Rhea, and Beth Broderick recorded the video for Netflix this week, in honor of the series’ premiere.

Melissa passed on her Sabrina Spellman torch to Kiernan Shipka along with the sage advice, “If you’re ever given a choice between a broom and a vacuum, choose the vacuum.”

Nate did the same to Ross Lynch‘s Harvey Kinkle, saying, “I hear the new Sabrina is scarier and pretty damn twisted. I’m rooting for you, buddy. Stay alive.

Caroline had some words for Lucy Davis‘s Hilda Spellman, and Beth had some for Miranda Otto‘s Zelda Spellman as well.

Melissa Joan Hart will always be the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but there’s about to be a new Sabrina in town.

The actress recently opened up about her thoughts on the new, darker version of Sabrina in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, based off of the comics of the same name.

“It’s an Archie comic so the rights reverted from my company, Hartbreak Films, back to them,” Melissa told E! News. “It’s a totally different show.”

“I think what they’re doing is smart, doing the darker version. I think it’s going to be more like Buffy the Vampire Slayer than the Sabrina that most people know,” she added.

Melissa‘s production company Hartbreak Films produced the original series that she starred in.

This one hurts! ABC Family has just decided to cancel Melissa & Joey after four seasons on the air.

According to THR, the show starring Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler, and Nick Robinson, will wrap production on its final season and air in the summer.

“We are proud of the milestones Melissa & Joey has achieved, being the network’s first sitcom to reach 100 episodes and the network’s first comedy to win a People’s Choice Award,” the network’s Executive VP of Programming & Development Karey Burke said in a statement. “Now that the kids are grown and Mel and Joe have married and are looking toward starting a family, it seemed like a natural time to bring the series to a close. We are grateful to Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence, and the whole cast and crew who worked so hard on this successful show.”
