Nolan Funk looks a little worse for wear while dressed up for Halloween with his buddy Darren Criss at the WhoSay Here Come the Boos Party on Thursday (October 29) in New York City.
The guys, who appeared on Glee together, were joined at the event by Darren‘s girlfriend Mia Swier.
Darren recently opened up to Advocate about why LGBT causes are so important to him.
“For me it was self-implicit. I was lucky enough [on Glee] to have a role that was a beacon for the gay community and it was a privilege and an honor to be part of it,” Darren said. “I personally care about it because I was left-handedly raised by the gay community.”
“I grew up backstage in the theatre with gay guys in their 20s and 30s who looked after me, bought me meals, and drove me home,” he added. “So I have a conscious and unconscious affection for the gay community. I was lucky enough to be part of it.”

The 28-year-old former Glee star joined his longtime girlfriend, Mia Swier, before receiving the Experience Award at the Giffoni Film Festival the day afterwards.

Darren Criss and girlfriend Mia Swier touch down at JFK airport in New York City on Friday afternoon (March 28).
While wheeling their bags out to their awaiting ride, Darren, 27, was spotted by autograph seekers and gladly signed away before heading to their hotel.
“Guys like Blaine who fancied themselves as the alpha in high school get all kinds of confused and challenged with his new place, in this new world with his fiance and the other people he meets. He’s re-establishing his ego in a new city,” Darren shared with THR on Blaine’s future on Glee.
He continued, “When you live with somebody you’re involved with for the first time, there’s a lot of things that happen as a result of that. Blaine starts not feeling like he’s who he used to be and goes through a bit of a slump. You get that depression with leaving home and not really knowing who you are anymore. I like that because it’s real. When you move somewhere new you think about what you’re doing there, and it’s not all rainbows and sunshine a la Glee; it’s real life.”
