Sofia Wylie Premiered 'Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron' at WonderCon 2019

Sofia Wylie stuns in a cool, dark teal jacket while arriving for 2019 WonderCon over the weekend in Anaheim, Calif.

The 14-year-old actress was joined by her Marvel Rising co-stars Kamil McFadden (Patriot), Milana Vayntrub (Squirrel Girl), and Kathreen Khavari (Ms. Marvel) for the premiere of her new special, Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron.

The premiere of the special premiered at the Marvel Rising panel, ahead of its’ online debut, which happens Wednesday, April 3 at 4PM PT/7PM ET.

Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron introduces Riri Williams a.k.a. Ironheart to the Marvel Rising universe, who is adjusting to college life and feeling socially isolated because she is younger than the other students.

After Hala the Accuser destroys the school’s engineering lab and kidnaps Riri’s best friend, Riri finds inspiration in her hero Iron Man and hatches a plan to defeat Hala and save the day.

Tati Gabrielle rocks a colorful dress while arriving for the premiere of Captain Marvel held at Dolby Theatre on Monday night (March 4) in Hollywood.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star wore an Elisabetta Franchi gown with a alphabet lettered bodice.

Tati was joined by co-star Chance Perdomo on the red carpet, along with Cloak & Dagger‘s Emma Lahana, and The Perfectionists star Sydney Park.

Influencers Alisha Marie and Remi Cruz were also seen at the event, along with Marvel Rising‘s Milana Vayntrub.

FYI: Tati completed her look with a Hearts on Fire necklace. Chance wore a Mr. Turk look. Alisha wore a House of CB dress with APM Monaco jewelry.

Marvel's 'New Warriors' Will Not Air on Freeform As Intended

The much-anticipated live action New Warriors series from Marvel, that was supposed to air on Freeform next year…won’t be airing on the network after all, and JJJ is really worried.

According to THR, the series, which “tested through the roof and caught the attention of high-level Disney executives”, doesn’t have a network to call home.

The trade paper reports that Freeform “could not find a slot for the show next year as it had originally intended. Marvel then asked for New Warriors back as the comic book powerhouse wants it to premiere in the new year. Freeform obliged.”

New Warriors stars This Is UsMilana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl, Baby Daddy‘s Derek Theler as Mister Immortal, with Jeremy Tardy as Night Thrasher, Calum Worthy as Speedball, Matthew Moy as Microbe and Kate Comer as Debrii.

The show will center on six young people who are learning to cope with their abilities in a world where bad guys can be as terrifying as bad dates.

Marvel and Freeform have officially announced the cast for the new show New Warriors, coming in 2018!

If you didn’t know, New Warriors is going to be the network’s first live action scripted comedy.
