Mitchel Musso is in love with Texas, so much that any time he gets a free moment, he’s back in the state.
The 19-year-old musician/actor chatted with The Dallas News about his love for Texas, music, being a part of the Disney family and Autism Speaks. Check it:
On why he chose to part from Hollywood Records: “I wasn’t able to be my own artist. People were telling me what to do. I had to make a change. Brainstorm is a pretty good album. The reason I like this album so much is because it tells a story. It’s a movie in my eyes.”
On the magic of Disney: “I couldn’t ask to be in a better place right now. I’ve been working with Disney for a long time now, and anything that I come to them and ask to do, a movie or whatever, they are always agreeable. They are cool, open-armed in letting me do anything that I want to do and accomplish any of my dreams.”
On working with Autism Speaks: “I am now the youngest ambassador for autism. I love that. There are a lot of things about Autism Speaks that I want to get behind. I have a very close friend that has autism, and she is one of the brightest people I know. A lot of them are geniuses. They can remember things that most people don’t remember. They will remember your name and your age from the get-go and will remember it for the rest of their lives. I wanted to figure out how that brain works.”
Mitchel Musso is a big believer in dreams and is putting his motto out in the universe for his fans to hear
The 19-year-old musician shared during his Walmart Risers interview, “My wish for you guys is to live your dreams, help others and my motto of living my life — don’t let anyone stop you from going after your dreams.”
Mitchel continued, “I also hope to meet all of you in person — in concerts, at a signing, or just at the mall. Come up to me and talk to me.”
