Every ’90s and 2000s kid’s favorite reality show — My Super Sweet 16 — is coming back, and by the looks of it, it will be sweeter than ever!
MTV and musical.ly are partnering to revive the hit TV series, and we couldn’t be more psyched. Musers can submit video entries on musical.ly using the hashtag #MySuperSweetAudition for the opportunity to be featured in a future episode!
Winners will be selected by MTV and musical.ly to advance forward to meet with producers.
This is the first time that MTV will use a mobile app to cast one of its shows, which is a major change from their usual casting methods.
“The casting for My Super Sweet 16 is just the beginning of engaging the muser audience more deeply into current and future MTV programming,” MTV president Chris McCarthy
said
We’re just hoping this means we’ll get to see Jacob Sartorius and Loren Gray on the show.
