Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult step out for the season two premiere of The Great at the Sunset Room Hollywood in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 14).
The pair were joined by their co-stars Tony McNamara, Belinda Bromilow, Douglas Hodge, Gayo Gbadamosi, Sacha Dhawan and Gwilym Lee.
In season two of The Great, Catherine finally takes the Russian throne for her own — but if she thought coup-ing her husband was difficult, it’s nothing compared to the realities of ‘liberating’ a country that doesn’t want to be. She’ll battle her court, her team, even her own mother in a bid to bring the enlightenment to Russia. Meanwhile she’ll also battle her heart as Peter slowly transitions from much-hated husband, to prisoner? Ally? Lover?
Ultimately Catherine will learn that to change a country, you must let it change you, that there is a fine line between idealism and delusion, and that becoming ‘Great’, will ask more of her than she could have imagined.
Season two is set to debut with all ten episodes on November 10 on Hulu and you can see the trailer for the new season here!

The young stars joined a long list of Hollywood actors who were in attendance at the premiere of Official Competition on Saturday (September 4) in Venice, Italy.

Catherine being pregnant in season two isn’t new news, as it was first announced earlier this year.

The 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards nominations have just been revealed!
The annual show will be a two night event this year, taking place on Sunday, May 16th, and Monday, May 17th, and feature 25 gender-neutral categories.
Nominees include Zendaya for Best Performance in a Movie for Malcolm & Marie, Addison Rae and Charli D’Amelio for Breakthrough Social Star and To All the Boys: Always and Forever for Best Movie.
Voting for the awards begins NOW through April 30th at vote.mtv.com!

Nicholas Hoult was sure to dress up, even though he couldn’t attend in person at the 2021 Golden Globes on Sunday (February 28)!
The 31-year-old actor suited up and snapped some photos from London, where he’s currently filming is Hulu series.
Nicholas was nominated that night for Best Actor In a Comedy TV show for his role on The Great, but lost out to Jason Sudeikis. This was his first Golden Globes nomination!
The Great and his co-star Elle Fanning were also nominated for Best Comedy Television Series, and Best TV Actress in a Comedy, but they both lost in their categories as well.
