We just got our first look at newcomer Ferdia Shaw playing the title role in the trailer for Artemis Fowl and it’s getting us so excited for the upcoming movie!
The film follows 12-year-old genius Artemis Fowl, a descendant of a long line of criminal masterminds, as he finds himself in a battle of strength and cunning against a powerful, hidden race of fairies who may be behind his father’s disappearance.
Josh Gad, Judi Dench, Lara McDonnell, Tamara Smart, and Nonzo Anozie also star in the film, directed by Kenneth Branagh.
Artemis Fowl, based on the beloved book by Eoin Colfer, will hit theaters on August 9, 2019.
