Normani is getting candid about the pressures of being compared to other artists.

The moment has arrived to watch Normani‘s new music video for “Wild Side” featuring Cardi B and we think her fans are going to be VERY happy with it.

This is expected to be the first song that the 25-year-old singer will release from her highly anticipated debut solo album, which will hopefully be released sometime this year. “Wild Side” also marks the first radio single for Normani since her song “Motivation” back in 2019.

Ally Brooke is opening up in her just released book “Finding Your Harmony”!

While the 27-year-old singer said she didn’t want to talk much about the Fifth Harmony drama, she did reveal that they had the chance to replace Camila Cabello.

Camila left the group almost four years ago, and 5H released a shocking message to fans announcing the news.

Now, Ally reveals that there was the option to bring another singer to take the missing spot, but the rest of the girls decided to just keep it as the four of them.

“There were several different options and routes we could’ve taken. There were a lot of different ideas floating around,” she told StyleCaster. “But the four of us decided, ‘Hey. We think it would be odd to all of a sudden bring someone.’ The four of us have a history, and we know what we went through together. We know our journey. We know each other. We felt like there was no question that we should continue on as we were.”

She shared that their management had offered quite a few names and one of them stood out.

“I don’t know if I can share, but one would’ve been really cool,” Ally said. “She’s at the top now, and everybody loves her. I love her. That wasn’t what we felt like would be right for our group, even though we love this other singer, and she’s awesome. She probably wouldn’t have accepted anyways because she probably would’ve said the same thing, like, ‘I don’t know if I should step in here.’ And her career is already blowing up.”

Normani is opening up about her debut album!

The 24-year-old “Motivation” singer dished on being anxious to release new music and more in a new interview.

“Vulnerability is talking about the fact that I do get anxiety sometimes, and just showing the consumer what that feels like for me,” she told Teen Vogue. “Just the fact that I am in a position that I’m in, but I don’t want to be so unattainable. I’m just the girl next door.”

“There’s so much expectation that I have for myself, so adding [fans’ expectations] onto that can be a lot, but it really does motivate me,” Normani added. “I really want to create a body of work that’s going to count, you know? I’m never going to get my first album back.”

She shared that her album will “be an opportunity for the public to be able to get to know me in a way that they haven’t been able to before.”

“I feel hurt, sad, elated sometimes. I feel like I’m in my head. I feel not so confident. I just want to be able to show not only women, but people in general, that I am a human as well,” she continued.

“But I’m close,” Normani said about when she feels like the right time is to release her album. “When God tells me that it’s done, then it’ll be done. I’ll feel it, you know?”
