The former Dancing With The Stars champ, who won with Peta in Season 22, shared a brand new video on YouTube with a ton of simple and easy signs that both Peta and Maks could learn and share with their new baby boy, Shai Aleksander.
“First off, congratulations on becoming a mother!” Nyle signs in his new video. “Your baby is so fortunate to have you and Maks.”
He adds, “I love that I knew that your baby was also dancing in your tummy when the two of us were dancing to our final freestyle.”

The Love and Language Campaign aims to end language delay and deprivation amongst Deaf children by promoting kindergarten ready literacy. Less than 15% of hard of hearing and less than 6% of Deaf children in grades K through 12 can read and write proficiently.

On his same sex tango with Keo Motsepe: “We’re moving on in the world. We are in a place now where you should be accepting of who everybody is, I think especially with the new generation. It’s a beautiful thing. I was quite shocked by how accepting people were. I saw some negative comments but I saw more people who were explaining why it was OK, and I think that’s progress.”
On how accepting the deaf community is of diversity: “I’m fortunate, because our [deaf] community is so small, which means that there is more diversity. One of my best friends growing up is now a drag queen � In the deaf community everybody accepts everybody else because that’s who you are, you’re part of that community and that’s our safe space. We’re comfortable with our identity, it’s something I’ve never been embarrassed about.”
On finding men attractive: “Growing up, I was never afraid to say that a guy was beautiful. Women can say other women are beautiful, so why should it be any different? So, I was never really afraid to say that. I’ve always been that way, whether it’s male or female. You know, if they’re beautiful, they’re beautiful.”

Nyle DiMarco has his next gig lined up…he’s going to be celebrity guest hosting for the Chippendales beginning next month!
The 27-year-old America’s Next Top Model winner and DWTS champ will take the stage in Las Vegas with the famous company of dancers.
“I am so excited to join Chippendales Las Vegas as their celebrity guest host beginning in September,” Nyle said (via EW). “Chippendales is an iconic brand and legendary show � headlining a production like this with such a talented cast of performers is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!”
Nyle is a deaf model and actor. You can see him perform in Vegas from September 22� October 16.
