Obi-Wan Kenobi is breaking records!
The new Star Wars show debuted on Disney+ last Friday (May 27) and in a new press release, the streamer announced that it was was the most-watched original series to date.
Obi-Wan Kenobi sees the return of Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also stars Hayden Christensen in his return to Darth Vader.
The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The third episode is set to be released on Wednesday, June 1 release at midnight Pacific/3am Eastern/8am BST. Check out the show’s trailer here.
