Before the third season of Outer Banks premiered, it has already been confirmed that the story will continue into a fourth season.
The popular show is set to return to Netflix with 10 all-new episodes on February 23. On Saturday (February 18), co-creators and showrunners Jonas and Josh Pate and Shannon Burke spilled about the future of the series while attending a fan event with some of the cast.
“Seeing Poguelandia come to life was nothing short of spectacular. The Pogues are enjoying an adventure of a lifetime, and we now get to map out more twists and turns as the joyride continues into season four of Outer Banks. Thank you to Netflix, our cast, and the amazing fans who helped to make this happen,” they said while at the Poguelandia Fan Event in Huntington Beach, Calif.

The young stars of Outer Banks get in a group photo while attending the premiere of the upcoming third season of their show on Thursday evening (February 16) at Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles.
Austin North, Rudy Pankow, Madelyn Cline, Drew Starkey, Carlacia Grant, Chase Stokes, Jonathan Daviss and Madison Bailey were among the cast from the Netflix series who hit the red carpet event.
Also in attedance were more of their co-stars, including Charles Esten, Elizabeth Mitchell, Cullen Moss, Lou Ferrigno Jr, Julia Antonelli, Caroline Arapoglou and more.
This is actually the first red carpet premiere for the series, after the first two seasons dropped in the midst of the pandemic.
Season three of Outer Banks is set to debut NEXT Thursday (February 23) on Netflix.
