We are getting closer and closer to the release of the next installment of the franchise, centering around the popular red hat wearing teddy bear.

Last update we got was back in early February, where Paddington voice actor Ben Whishaw revealed he hadn’t read a script or learned of when production was taking place.

'Paddington' Is Becoming a Nickelodeon TV Show!

Get ready to see Paddington on your TV!

The beloved bear will appear in a CGI-animated series from Studiocanal, Nickelodeon and produccer David Heyman, Variety confirmed on Thursday (February 14).

Ben Whishaw is on board to reprise his role as the voice of Paddington in the series, which is based on Michael Bond‘s Paddington Bear stories.

It will be also be “aimed at pre-schoolers,” and is scheduled to air worldwide in 2020.
