Justin is spending time with Pattie Mallette in the tropical Maldives, which is huge, considering they’ve had a pretty strained relationship.
“I’m so proud of the amazing young man you are, and the young man you are becoming. None of us are perfect and never will be, (so we will always need patience and grace for each other), but your genuine growing relationship with Jesus is evident in the choices you are making daily and the good ‘fruit’ you bear,” she wrote.

Although Selena doesn’t follow Justin on Instagram at the moment, she did give Justin‘s sweet post about his mother her seal of approval with a like.
Pattie recently had nothing but nice things to say about Selena: “I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious,” she said.

While attending an event on Saturday (December 9), Pattie Mallette gushed about her son’s possible on-again girlfriend!
“I don’t know so much about their personal relationship because he doesn’t share a whole lot, but I love her,” Pattie told People about Selena. “I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious. I can’t really speak on their relationship, that’s between them.”
For the past few weeks, rumors have been swirling that the Selena and Justin have rekindled their romance after they’ve been spotted hanging out tons of times, but neither have officially confirmed the news.
“I think anyone with real love in their life is more grounded,” Justin‘s mom continued. “I think there’s so much confusion sometimes and fa�ade in this Hollywood world, and so it’s important for us to find the ones that truly care and stick with them.”
Justin Bieber has had his ups and downs over the years and it seems the struggles have affected his relationship his mom Pattie Mallette.
The 21-year-old singer, who displayed his close relationship with his mom in his documentary movie Never Say Never, recently opened up about what his relationship with her is like these days. He told Billboard that it’s “pretty nonexisting.”
“I was distant because I was ashamed,” Justin said. “I never wanted my mom to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust. She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better. She’s an amazing woman and I love her.”
Justin‘s mom gave birth to him when she was just 17 and his dad Jeremy Bieber was 18.
“He was immature,” Justin told the mag about his dad. “He left for like a year when I was about 4, went to British Columbia, came back on Father’s Day. I remember my mom said, ‘If you’re going to be here, you have to be here.’ There’s a misconception that he’s this deadbeat dad, but he has been in my life since. I was with him on weekends and Wednesdays.”
