The new Vampire Academy television series has finally premiered on Peacock!
The Vampire Diaries‘ Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre serve as creators, executive producers and showrunners on the new adaptation of Richelle Mead‘s books.
Here’s a synopsis: In a world of privilege and glamour, two young women’s friendship transcends their strikingly different classes as they prepare to complete their education and enter royal vampire society. This serialized and sexy drama combines the elegance of aristocratic romance and the supernatural thrills of the vampire genre. Watch the trailer here!

Peacock has revealed all of the titles that are coming to it’s platform in September!
In case you missed it, it was recently revealed that the streaming service will become the go-to next day service for NBC shows.
Many E! and Bravo shows are also being removed from Hulu and will only exclusively be found on Peacock.
Among the new additions to the streamer include the limited series Last Night, Julie Plec‘s new series Vampire Academy and the new Peacock original film Meet Cute with Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson.

Peacock will be the new next-day streaming home for all NBC and Bravo shows!
This comes as no surprise as the NBCUniversal-owned networks of course also owns the streaming platform.
It was just announced that starting in September, NBC and Bravo shows will no longer be streaming next-day on Hulu, as many have been for years.

The young Stranger Things actress stars as a young Jan Broberg in the new limited series for Peacock.
This series is based on the harrowing true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan was kidnapped multiple times over a period of a few years by a charismatic, obsessed family “friend.”

Based on the book series by Richelle Mead, the new show comes from showrunners Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre, who also wrote and executive produce the show.

Charles Melton is adding another TV show to his resume!
The Riverdale star has joined the cast of the upcoming new series Poker Face at Peacock, Variety reveals.
Charles is one of four new additions to be cast, joining the already stacked cast. Also newly announced are Nick Nolte, Ron Perlman and Tim Blake Nelson.

Mckenna Grace and Hendrix Yancey are both featured in first look photos from their upcoming Peacock limited series A Friend of the Family!
The 16-year-old actress plays Jan Broberg in the series, in the later years, while the 11-year-old Stranger Things actress plays Jan in the younger years.
“Meet Jan and the Broberg family and learn about their incredible, harrowing true story. #AFriendofTheFamily limited series starts streaming on @PeacockTV, beginning on October 6,” Mckenna wrote on Instagram, along with one of the photos.
