'Peppa Pig' Has Been Renewed Through 2027!

Good news for fans of Peppa Pig – she’s not going anywhere for many more years!

It was just revealed on Tuesday (March 16) that the hit show has been renewed all the through 2027.

The addition of the new episodes will bring the total number of Peppa Pig episodes to 485!!!

The original creators Astley Baker Davies will also be stepping away from the series, with British animation studio Karrot taking over.

Peppa Pig first premiered in 2004 and follows the adventures of Peppa Pig who lives with her little brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favourite things include playing games, dressing up and jumping in muddy puddles. Her adventures always end happily with loud snorts of laughter.

New episodes from Astley Baker Davies will continue to air through 2023, then the new episodes from Karrot will air through 2027.

Season nine kicks off this Spring with the brand-new four-part U.S. special which sees Peppa and family take a road trip around America followed by a further 22 new episodes that will roll out globally throughout 2021.
