Jenna Johnson cozies up to fiance Val Chmerkovskiy as they arrive for the 2018 Industry Dance Awards held at Avalon Hollywood on Wednesday night (August 15) in Los Angeles.
The newly engaged couple were joined by his brother, Maksim and his dancer wife Peta Murgatroyd, as well as Julianne Hough and host Sharna Burgess.

The Industry Dance Awards is an annual event that brings the global dance community together in celebration of creativity, industry innovation, and the fight against cancer.
Kyle Hanagami is also pictured on the red carpet with Julianne. Kyle was honored with the New Media Influencer award at the event.

Here’s something you likely didn’t know about Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd – they got married days before everyone thought they did!
The longtime couple, most known for their work on Dancing With the Stars, opened up about their secret wedding in Instagram posts on their anniversary.
“Before we did it in front of 300🤵🏻👰🏼,” Maks wrote. “This was one of the most exciting days of my life! Everything felt very festive, I couldn’t take my eyes off my future wife the whole ride to the City Hall and it was is if New York City herself was marrying us.”
“I can’t believe it’s been a year. I still can’t believe you chose me. I can’t believe I get to live this dream with you by my side for the rest of my life and I promise to earn every second of your love,” he added. “I love you @petamurgatroyd ❤️ Happy anniversary baby.”
Peta added, “Today I married the man I fell in love with so many years ago. I knew he was the one. There was something so electric between us that people will still tell me about to this day. I love you @maksimc, this has been an incredible, outrageous year for us! I pray we are this happy for the rest of our lives. You’re everything I knew you were.”
Peta Murgatroyd wasn’t able to give fans her all during a Maks & Val & Peta: Confidential show this weekend due to a health scare and she’s apologizing to fans in a new Instagram post.
The 31-year-old dancer explained how she wasn’t feeling well during the day and then her legs gave out during the show.
“I need to apology to the people who attended our Grand Prairie, Texas show last night,” Peta said on Instagram. “I have never missed a show due to illness in my entire professional dancing career. I woke up feeling a little nauseous but I was able to go about my day with [my son] Shai. In the afternoon, the vomiting (and you know what) started.”
“I thought it was food poisoning. I had a fever and chills and just tried to sleep it off before the show,” she continued. “However, 8pm rolled around and I could hardly walk and I couldn’t feel my arms or legs. I had no idea how I was going to walk out that door. The opening music starts and I walked out onto stage. I tried my best to dance but my legs were giving out. Apart from it being very embarrassing, it was very scary.”
“I am so, so sorry for not being able to give you the show you all deserved,” Peta added.
Peta thanked her tourmates for taking care of her during the scary moment and assured fans that she is feeling better now.

The Dancing With The Stars pros and longtime couple recently sat down with ET about keeping their romance alive by throwing in surprises now and then.
“If I can figure out how to cook something better and surprise her with a meal, that’s some points,” Maks shared. “The problem with time [is] you get to know each other so well, there’s no more room for surprises, [but] you look back and say, ‘This has been the best decision I’ve ever made in my life’, because of these days when there’s no more room for surprises, and it’s still the only person you want to be with.”
He adds, “I’m excited that we get to share the same life. I think that’s another key to our success as a couple — this is my partner, you know what I mean?”
“It’s easy for us to relate to one another.”

The Dancing With The Stars pro is gearing up to head out on the road with his brother Val and his wife Peta Murgatroyd for the MVP: Confidential Tour.

It’s official — The Chmerkovskiy‘s are headed out on tour!
Brothers Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy are bringing Peta and even baby Shai along with them on the newly rebranded MVP Tour, starting in March 2018.
“We’re definitely going to have a lot of wow moments,” Val teased about the tour with ET. “I think ‘confidential’ is more from the side of the honesty you’re going to get on this tour.”
He adds, “This show is going to be honest about how we feel about love, how we feel about friendships, how we feel about family, and that’s what’s confidential. You’re going to get to see us in a way that you haven’t seen us before.”
Peta also opened up about bringing along almost one-year-old son, Shai, with them, “Talk to me the first weekend and we’ll see how we go (laughs). We’re going to definitely have to have a really good setup for him [on the bus].”

Lindsay Arnold took home her first mirrored ball trophy last night after winning Dancing With The Stars season 25 with partner Jordan Fisher — and the absolute first people to congratulate her where her fellow pros.
Taking to Instagram shortly after the winning team was announced, Val Chmerkovskiy praised Lindsay for her win.
“Congrats to Jordan, but oh man CONGRATS to Lindsay!” he wrote. “So hard earned, for so many seasons. This was a long time coming and way overdue, you’ve gone thru your ups and downs and I couldn’t be happier for you. Congrats girl! And Jordan you were aighhhht too I guess.”
The pro to pro love didn’t stop there either.
“Congratulations @jordan_fisher for winning Season 25 and even bigger congratulations to @lindsarnold for winning her FIRST @dancingabc mirrorball!!!
