Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are going to a castle, and they’re gonna get married!
The Dancing With The Stars couple are saying “I Do” today with a wedding fit for a royal couple — and we only wish we could be there, too.
Since getting engaged at the end of 2015, Peta and Maks have also welcomed their first child, Shai, who will reportedly be the ring bearer for the ceremony that will be held at Oheka Castle in New York.
“I remember when I was passing by this castle when I first immigrated, and [I said,] ‘That’s where I want to have my wedding’ and I just said it so [casually,] and now it’s happening,” Maks explained during an ABC interview earlier this year.
He added, “It’s perfect. We’re going to have it for two days. They’re closing the whole hotel. It’s going to be unbelievable!”
Sharna Burgess, Tony Dovolani and Maks‘ brother, Val, are all in the wedding party too.

When Peta Murgatroyd was announced as a pro for season 24 on Dancing With The Stars, we were pretty surprised, but also thrilled that she was coming back.
In a new blog post, Peta opened up about her decision to return, just a few weeks after giving birth to her first child, Shai, with fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
“I put so much time and energy into being the best possible mum that, frankly, the call from DWTS caught me off guard,” she admits, going on to say that the show was very accommodating with Shai and her schedule, once she did say yes.
There was a family partner brought in to help Peta manage all her obligations, a nanny for Shai, and more.
Peta adds, “It was never an easy decision, but when I look back, after having Shai and saying yes to the man I love, it was the best decision I ever made.”

Peta Murgatroyd is getting married to Maksim Chmerkovskiy in only a few months, and from what she says about her wedding dress, it’s going to be gorgeous!
“I went through a lot of different options, but the main dress where I’m going to be walking down to the ceremony, it’s big,” the DWTS pro dancer shared in a new interview about her wedding look.
Peta adds, “It’s not a huge princess gown, but the top half of it’s very fitted and then it’s definitely a big skirt.”
“I didn’t want a stark white dress. I just love the old-fashioned feel of the ivory,” she shares of the color. “I think it’s more sleek in a way.”
One thing that Peta is really looking forward to though is seeing Maks at the end of the aisle.
“I can’t speak for every girl, but when you first step onto that runway and see the love of your life at the end of the path waiting for you, I think that’s going to be a moment that I’ve always waited for – just to see Maks‘ face,” Peta says. Swoon!
“That’s going to be a really special moment for me. I can’t wait for that.”

The four DWTS pros, who attended the event with Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Heather Morris, wowed in four different looks that will all get heads turning towards you.
Jenna wore a striking red suit, Sharna went sweet with a yellow rose Sachin and Babi dress, Lindsay went modern with a cool black House of CB dress and Peta was all out stunning in her sparkly number from Jovani.

This is terrifying news – Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were victims of an alleged break-in at their home last night.
The Dancing With the Stars couple have not commented on it, but Maks‘ partner Heather Morris revealed the news during an exit interview following her shocking elimination.
“They had some sort of run in with some man near their house trying to break in, but the police were there,” Heather told E! News. “They took care of it. So they’re safe and Peta‘s okay. That’s the most important thing.”
The site confirmed that the cops were called, but no one was arrested.
Peta and Maks welcomed their first child, a son named Shai Aleksander, back in January.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy‘s Dancing With the Stars injury is more serious than previously thought.
His fiancee Peta Murgatroyd confirmed that he does in fact need surgery.

“I think it’s been said that he has tears in his calf muscles, so it’s going to take a couple of weeks to get better,” Peta told Access Hollywood. “So I hope he’s back out there in a couple weeks killing it again.”
She added, “He’s having a surgery done, yeah. But then rehab starts after that. It’s serious in that regard. It’s not just an ice pack situation. He’s a quick healer. He’s going to be fine.”

Maks added about their actual wedding day: “In my personal life, I can’t wait for my wedding in July. Peta keeps trying to postpone it, and I’m like ‘No, I want to marry you, godd� it!’ We have this crazy dream of getting married in a castle, so we want to try and make that happen�in New York.”
