Disney Branded Television is teasing some major changes and upcoming projects!
The television unit of The Walt Disney Company produces original content for Disney+ and Disney Channels, and they just promoted four executives.
While announcing the promotions of Amee Dolleman and Charles Pugliese to vice president, and Mahita Penke and Jennifer (Jen) Dubin to executive director, Original Movies, Disney Branded Television, they also teased three of the original movies that are currently in the works!
In a press release, DBT shared that there are currently dozens of projects the team is working on, including three previously announced movies.

The Doogie Kamealoha, MD and the Zombies stars will be starring in the brand new movie Prom Pact, coming to Disney+, according to Deadline.
The new film is being produced by Julie Bowen and Melvin Mar, who is also a producer on Doogie.

The series has just been renewed for a second season on Disney+, Deadline reveals.
Doogie follows Lahela “Doogie” Kamealoha, a 16-year-old prodigy juggling a budding medical career and life as a teenager. With the support of her caring — and comical — ohana (family and friends), Lahela is determined to make the most of her teenage years and forge her own path.
Starring in the show are Peyton Elizabeth Lee in the title role, Emma Meisel as her bff Steph, Jason Scott Lee as her dad Benny, Kathleen Rose Perkins as her mom Clara, Matt Sato and Wes Tian as her brothers Kai and Brian Patrick, respectively, plus Alex Aiono as her boyfriend Walter, and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Mapuana Makia, and Ronny Chieng as her co-workers.
