Phillip Phillips gets silly for the cameras on Friday afternoon (July 18) in Bala Cynwyd, Penn.

The 23-year-old American Idol alum stopped by the MIX 106.1 performance studio to play a few songs.

Later that weekend, Phillip revealed that he’s been having some minor throat issues.

“My throat seems to have lost it’s mind for the past few days. Hopefully it’ll find it again really soon. #hoarse #froggyvoice,” he tweeted.

Recently, Phillip treated the audience to a live performance at the 2014 Capitol Fourth special on the U.S. Capitol’s West Lawn in Washington D.C.

The 24-year-old singer was joined by Phillip Phillips for the event.

At the special, Jordin ran into Kendall Schmidt who also was performing that night.

“REUNITEDDDDDDD!! Yayayayay @heffrondrive it’s been way too long!! You did so amazing tonight,” she tweeted along with a picture.

“Had such a great time playing at the Capitol Fourth! Always a positive energy. Happy Fourth of July everyone!” Phillip tweeted after his set.

The 23-year-old American Idol alum performed three songs off of his new album, Raging Fire, including the title track, “Lead On” and “Gone Gone Gone”

Phillip Phillips looks super handsome as he arrives at the American Idol Season 13 Finale held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Wednesday night (May 21) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old season 11 winner was joined at the event by runner-up that season, Jessica Sanchez, 18.

During the show, Phillip hit the stage with finalist Sam Woolf to sing his single “Raging Fire” and his hit “Home”!
