The animated series’ new flick will be called Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe, Variety reports.
Phineas & Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe will pick up five years after summer ended and will follow Phineas and Ferb travel across the galaxy to rescue their sister Candace, who has been abducted by aliens and has found utopia in a far-off planet, free of pesky little brothers.
It was revealed this week that a new Phineas and Ferb movie would debut later this year on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.
Now, we know even more details about the animated movie, which would center on the titular duo’s older sister, Candace, who is voiced by Ashley Tisdale.
According to Variety, the flick will take Candace to space after being “abducted by space aliens”.
Titled “The Phineas and Ferb Effect”, the special hour-long ep follows Milo and his friends, along with their newly discovered neighbors – Phineas, Ferb, Perry the Platypus, Candace, Isabella, Baljeet and Buford – as they work together to overcome Murphy’s Law in order to stop a pistachio invasion.
Ashley Tisdale (“Candace”), Alyson Stoner (“Isabella”), Vincent Martella (“Phineas”), Dee Bradley Baker (“Perry the Platypus”), and creators/executive producers Dan Povenmire (“Doofenshmirtz”) and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (“Monogram”) will return for it. David Errigo Jr. will step in as Ferb, plus Maulik Pancholy is Baljeet and Bobby Gaylor will voice Buford.
“The Phineas and Ferb Effect” crossover special will air THIS Saturday, January 5th @ 7AM ET/PT on both Disney Channel and Disney XD.

Planting Easter eggs throughout the first season of Milo Murphy’s Law, the crossover had been hinted at for a while – plus Milo and friends live in Danville, just a few neighborhoods away from Phineas and Ferb.
The creators told THR that fans probably hadn’t figured out that “the story arc of Milo Murphy’s Law has been designed from the very beginning to lead us to a big crossover with all the Phineas and Ferb characters. It’s planned for early in the second season and we can’t wait for the fans to see these two worlds collide.”

Disney commemorated the anniversary yesterday with a fun, factoid filled video of all the milestones the series had — but all JJJ can see is that the series is 10 years old. Where did that time go?!
In the anniversary video, there are some pretty big milestones, but can we just point how they missed two of the biggest ones?
It’s official — Phineas and Ferb are making their Disney XD return!!!
Via THR, the two fave animated characters will be popping up on Milo Murphy’s Law on Disney XD — another animated show, which is from Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh.
The crossover special will air in 2018 — and right now, we have zero details about it all.
We do know that it will be in Danville though, because both shows are based out of the fictional town; AND Perry the Platypus, Doofenshmirtz, Candace, Isabella, Baljeet and Buford will be back too!
“We’ve always known that Milo lived just a couple neighborhoods away from Phineas and Ferb,” the creators shared. “We’ve planted lots of clues and Easter eggs in this first season, so a lot of fans have figured it out.”
