Princess Elisabeth of Belgium arrives with her family for the annual Christmas Concert held at the Royal Palace of Brussels, Belgium on Wednesday evening (December 18).

The 18-year-old future queen and student wore a warm red jumpsuit for the event and posed for pictures with her family – parents Queen Mathilde and King Philippe and siblings, Prince Gabriel, Princess Eleonore, and Prince Emmanuel.

The concert featured performers from the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, with students and teachers from the school performing many classical Christmas music, including works from Johann Sebastian Bach and Felix Mendelssohn.

Just recently, Princess Elisabeth hosted a classy celebration at the palace for her 18th birthday.

Princess Elisabeth of Belgium celebrated her 18th birthday with so much class at a ceremony on Friday (October 25) in Brussels, Belgium.

The Duchess of Brabant was joined by many of her peers, and the Royal Family for the celebration, and it was televised live on Belgian television.

Laureates from the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition, Sylvia Huang and Lorenzo Gatto, opened the event with violin performances with dancers from the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp and singers also taking part in the celebrations.

Elisabeth‘s younger siblings, Princes Gabriel and Emmanuel and Princess Eléonore, and grandparents, King Albert and Queen Paola, and her parents, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, were in attendance.

During the ceremony, Elisabeth was honored with the Grand Gordon in the Order of Leopold, the oldest and highest order in Belgium with the monarch serving as the Grand Master.

“I realise that I still have a lot to learn. I will also focus on that in the coming years: trying to understand the world better and contribute to improving it by giving the best of myself. The country can count on me,” she shared in her speech.

Elisabeth will one day become the Queen of Belgium, and will be the queen to reign in her own right.

Princess Elisabeth, who just returned from Kenya for a UNICEF trip with her mother, is currently in school at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales and will graduate in May 2020.

She’s set to become the first Queen Regnant in the country’s history.

The 17-year-old future Queen was joined by her younger siblings Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eleonore, and their parents, King Filip and Queen Mathilde for the annual event.

It was just recently announced that Elisabeth, who attends college in Wales, will adorn a special stamp for her upcoming 18th birthday next year.

The stamp will be issued on October 21st, just four days before her actual birthday, although the design is currently being kept secret. We can’t wait to see it!
