Princess Leonor of Spain shines in a soft pink dress while attending the National Day Military Parade on Saturday afternoon (October 12) in Madrid, Spain.
The 13-year-old young royal joined her younger sister, Infanta Sofia, and parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia for the annual event celebrating the country.
It was also just announced that Princess Leonor will be attending the upcoming her namesake, Princess of Asturias Awards, later this week.
The awards and foundation are aimed at honoring those who carry out scientific, cultural and humanistic values and work that form part of the universal heritage of humanity.
The 2019 Princess of Asturias Awards will be held on this Friday, October 18th at the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo.

Princess Leonor looks all ready for the new school year!
The 13-year-old Spanish royal was seen in her uniform, arriving for the new year ahead with her younger sister, Infanta Sofia, and their parents King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia at the Santa María de los Rosales School in Madrid, Spain.

This will be Leonor‘s third year at the secondary school, and Sofia‘s first.
While arriving, fans could catch a glimpse of the decorations on their backpacks. Leonor and Sofia both have ballerina slipper keychains hanging on them, and Sofia added a few other ornaments to hers.

The 13-year-old Princess of Asturias joined her younger sister, Infanta Sofia and parents King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, to visit King Juan Carlos, who had heart surgery earlier in the week.
Leonor and Sofia spoke to some press outside of the hospital after visiting with the former King, and revealed they brought him a gift.
Sofia shared that it was a personal item, “a card.”

Just last week, Leonor and Sofia spent some time with their mom, and grandmother, Queen Sofía, and went to see a screening of The Lion King.
Royal Central reports that the Queen accompanied her youngest granddaughters and Letizia to the Rívoli Aficine cinema for the movie.

Princess Leonor of Spain and her younger sister, Infanta Sofia, have some pretty fun plans for the summer!
The 13-year-old and 12-year-old young royals will be heading back to camp for the summer months, according to a new report.
Leonor and Sofia attended camp last summer as well in the United States. However, it’s not known if it will be the same camp.
Sofia mentioned during a photo call in Mallorca last year that they had the best time: “We had so much fun. We played lots of sports and met many kids from other countries.”
On top of improving their skills in many sports, Leonor and Sofia have the chance to meet children from different backgrounds, to make new friends and learn about different cultures.
