Lindsay Arnold readies her free throw shot during the 50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Tuesday night (July 17) in Westwood, Calif.
The 24-year-old DWTS pro joined Rashad Jennings and Miles Brown at the event, and during halftime, Lindsay tied with Colton Underwood and Brittney Elena during the free throw competition.
Each player picked up $5,000 for their chosen charity. Sweet!
The 50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game raised money and awareness for multiple charities in addition to the host beneficiary, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend’s WHO Cares initiative Teen Cancer America.
The actress will be taking over for season 24 champ Rashad, as he takes the month of July off for football training.
“Rashad has been loving the tour so far and will be focusing on football for the month of July,” his rep dished to ET. “He plans rejoin the tour on August 1.”
It looks like Heather is so happy to join the fun, too!
“Get ready! I’m back! Can’t wait to join the #DWTStour July 9th-30th. Get your tickets now @dancingabc,” she captioned a post on Instagram.
Just after she was voted off the last season, Heather expressed interest in joining the tour.
“I would personally love to [do the tour],” she shared then. I’m not against it, and I would really love to just dance on the stage one more time because [Maksim Chmerkovskiy and I] only had two shows where we got to actually dance together, which was really disappointing.”
“I’m proud,” Normani told ET after the show. “That’s, like, my big brother.
She adds, “He’s worked his butt off. I think that any one of us would have been deserving so kudos to him!”
“You’re never really guaranteed,” she shared about her third-place finish.
“It was quite a shocker for me as well, but I’ve gained so much from this experience. I’m so happy, and I can’t even begin to express you know the gratitude that I carry and the blessing especially because I have a lifelong friend now [in partner Val Chmerkovskiy].”
“I’ve already figured this out,” he admitted during his Good Morning America interview (via USA Today) with Emma Slater. “Over the fireplace.”
But it isn’t just going to sit on the fireplace mantle — “There’s going to be some light shining on it. It’s going to rotate and it’s going to play every single song, in the background, that we danced to.”
We’re going to need to see videos and pictures of this now!
