Adelaine Kane is officially saying goodbye to Mary, Queen of Scots in just three more episodes of Reign.
The actress covers the summer issue of Locale magazine, and opened up about what playing the Scottish Queen meant to her.
Adelaide revealed one special moment happened in the final scenes, when the cast members and wardrobe staff dressed up in the set’s costumes, just to watch her shoot the last scenes.
“It was incredibly sweet and moving that everyone wanted to be there for me,” she shared.
One thing you probably didn’t know about Adelaide though: she’s allergic to horses!
Whenever she had the chance to ride the horses on the Toronto-based set though, she did.
Stay tuned for a sneak peek of tomorrow’s all-new episode!
Reign will be over and done in just a few more episodes and JJJ isn’t ready for it at all.
The show, centered on the life of Mary, Queen of Scots, from her journey to France to wed Francis and her return to Scotland.
While we know we’ll be binge watching the entire series on Netflix all over again once it’s over, plus all these shows, we’re still out of a historical drama that we need.
JJJ has rounded up 10 Female Rulers (queens, princesses, pirates…) that we’d love to see get their own show.
Click inside to see which Queens should definitely get their own show…
Will Kemp is such a good actor that getting us to not like Darnley was really, really easy.
In tonight’s new episode of Reign, Darnley is up to no good again — he actually teams up with John Knox to strip Mary (Adelaide Kane) of her throne.
His plans go so far that one of Mary’s close friends ends up dead! (Say it with us – please don’t be Greer, please don’t be Greer)
Meanwhile, over in England, Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) must banish Gideon (Ben Geurens) from court at the request of her future husband, while in France, Charles takes a bold stance against his brother Henri.
That smile on Mary’s (Adelaide Kane) face might seem like a genuine one, but it really isn’t.
On tonight’s Reign, she really does have the fate of her nation all on her shoulders, and Darnley (Will Kemp) is not helping her at all.
In the episode, after a tragic earthquake hits Scotland, Mary must face John Knox (Jonathan Goad) amidst claims that she isn’t coming to the aid of her people.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) takes drastic measures after she is discovered with Gideon (Ben Geurens), while Charles (Spencer MacPherson) makes a decision that backfires.
Star Adelaide Kanepromises more “hubby drama” with Lord Darnley (Will Kemp) on the new episode, as he and Mary butt heads on just how to seize England.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) is conflicted about her feelings for Gideon as she attempts to find a Catholic to marry; and Catherine’s (Megan Follows) son Henri attempts to claim the throne from Charles with the support of Spain and Narcisse.
So, in case you missed Mary and Darnley getting married, Catherine’s quest to keep her children in line or even Elizabeth see through her master plan, you can do it all in one sitting.
We mean, you could actually watch the entire series, because all four seasons will be on the streaming service!
