Richard Brancatisano is all smiles inside the Australians in Film screening for his new film, Alex and Eve, during the SEEfest festival in Los Angeles late last week.
The 32-year-old former Chasing Life actor spoke to the audience ahead of the screening.
Alex and Eve centers on a Greek Orthodox schoolteacher (Brancatisano), who falls in love with a Lebanese Muslim lawyer (Andrea Demetriades).
When their families don’t approve of their relationship, it’s up to the two of them to convince their traditionally-minded relations that love can overcome. With the relatives disapproving and the threat of an arranged marriage standing in the way, the two must prove their love can transcend race and culture.
In “La Dolce Vita,” whether it’s the Italian honeymoon that never happened, the unchecked item on her bucket list, or her lack of inspiration, all signs point April to Rome. Caught up in the midst of family drama, April faces too many distractions that keep her from making progress on her book. But will April find the inspiration she seeks in Rome, or will this trip lead her down another path?
The 28-year-old actress, in Alice and Olivia, hit the carpet with Haley Ramm, Richard Brancatisano and Aisha Dee to rep their show, which is up for Choice Summer TV Show. Italia is also up for Choice Summer Female TV Star.
“Heading to my first @teenchoicefox awards! @italiaricci’s second. She’s a vet,” Robbie joked on Twitter. Robbie is up for Choice Comedy Movie Actor for The DUFF.
April (Italia Ricci) looks like she’s having a little too much fun at her bachelorette party in this new still from Chasing Life.
In “The Domino Effect”, as the wedding date draws near, April is forced to face a list of “lasts,” such as her last week of living at home and her last time being a single girl. While her natural instincts are to have a classy and low-key bachelorette party, Vanessa (Krysta Rodriguez) helps April realize that this might be her last time to live it up.
Another possible “last” opportunity presents itself for April when Dominic (Richard Brancatisano) sets up a meeting for April with his book agent. With her health still in question, this opportunity may be April’s first (and last) chance to get a book published.
In “Life, Actually”, April and Beth (Aisha Dee) confide their doubts about each other’s boyfriends and decide to arrange a double date to get to know the guys better.
Meanwhile, Sara (Mary Page Keller) wants to keep her latest fling easy and uncomplicated but then learns something shocking about her lover. And, after a fight with her mother, Greer (Gracie Dzienny) turns to Brenna (Haley Ramm) for support.
“Life, Actually” airs TONIGHT, Monday, March 9th @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family.
In “Rest in Peace”, April panics about a recent recurrence of her cancer symptoms and her worries increase about the stability of her remission. A desperate search for ways to alleviate her anxiety leads her down unexpected paths. The tension between April and Leo (Scott Michael Foster) is still palpable, but a twist of fate may encourage them to reconnect.
Meanwhile, Sara (Mary Page Keller) hosts a college prep meeting for other parents and students from Brenna’s (Haley Ramm) school, and Brenna becomes increasingly annoyed by the pressure of Sara’s expectations and worries for her academic future.
