Lily recently chatted about wearing the famous glass slipper for the Disney movie.
“My foot was actually CGI’d into the glass slipper. It was made out of Swarovski crystal, and I was always terrified I’d drop it! I have big, ugly feet, so luckily I had a foot double,” Lily shared to Glamour.

Lily‘s agent has denied that the trailer for the film digitally altered her waist to appear smaller after critics started pointing it out.
“Lily‘s waist hasn’t been altered (in the film or in any stills/marketing materials) � she’s wearing a corset,” a Disney source told BuzzFeed.

The 25-year-old actress was joined at the event by Prince Charming himself, Richard Madden, as well as their co-stars Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter. Director Kenneth Branagh was also in attendance.
Lily and Richard will be spending even more time together later this year as it was just reported by the Daily Mail that they will star in a production of Romeo & Juliet on London’s West End!

Lily James looks every bit of the picture perfect bride in these first look portraits of her in Cinderella‘s wedding gown.
Costume designer Sandy Powell chatted with Vanity Fair about the to-be princess’s attire for her wedding day to the Prince (Richard Madden) and just how much hard work went into it.
“Creating the wedding dress was a challenge. Rather than try to make something even better than the ball gown, I had to do something completely different and simple,” Sandy shared. “I wanted the whole effect to be ephemeral and fine, so we went with an extreme-lined shape bodice with a long train. Cinderella wins the Prince’s heart through her goodness, so I wanted to show this through her clothes. I wanted her to stay modest and pure even though she was going to be a part of royalty.”
The final dress, which took 16 people and 550 hours (over a month) to complete is a beige colored, long-sleeve, silk organza gown with a floral print to represent the simplicity of the princess-to-be.
For the groom, Sandy dished on his look, “The silhouette and the shape of the shoulders is from the original animation, but we created more of a fitted look and dressed him in less masculine colors such as blue, green, and white.”
