Robert Pattinson is starting to appreciate his Twilight days more and more.
In a new interview with USA Today, the Edward Cullen actor is looking back at the movie franchise with new eyes.
“It seems like with younger people in their late teens, early 20s, it’s sort of become quite a hip thing to like,” the 32-year-old actor told . “It’s a fascinating second wave of people appreciating it, which is kind of cool. I think when anything becomes a massive phenomenon, there’s always people who get annoyed because it’s just everywhere. But now it seems like a retro thing: the soundtrack, the fashion. It’s like, ‘Oh, that’s so late 2000s.’ ”
Robert adds that he actually sat down to watch part of New Moon “just the other day” and shared that “it genuinely does have an incredibly good soundtrack. I completely forgot, but the soundtracks were quite ahead of their time.”
“It’s lovely now that the mania is not so intense. People come up (to me) and just have very fond memories of it. It’s a really sweet thing,” Rob adds. “I think the only scary part was right in the thick of it all, when it was very, very intense. Now the intensity has died down and it’s just very warm memories.”

The Love, Simon actor stepped out for the event, hosted by Steven Victor, at Dior Men’s Boutique on Friday night (February 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Nick spent some time with Robert Pattinson and Dior‘s artistic director Kim Jones while inside.
Nick paired his light blue suit with a white and blue Dior t-shirt and colorful sneakers.
Guests were invited to enter through the boutique which housed a dedicated VM installation of the KAWS BFF sculpture and bee from the Summer 2019 Runway Show. The main event took place in a specially constructed space in the back of the boutique. Hors d’oeuvres were served with music by DJ Clark Kent.
Last month, Nick premiered his new movie Native Son at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

Robert Pattinson just surprised all his fans by saying he’d actually be up for a Twilight reunion!
Speaking with Variety over the weekend, the 32-year-old actor was game when the possible reunion was mentioned.
“The amount of time I’ve spent moisturizing, I’m ready to play 17 at a moment’s notice. Ready!” he joked with the trade.
Robert added that it seemed like “not a day has passed” since he played Edward Cullen on the big screen.
He also defended the movies against haters: “Whenever anyone says that [Twilight’s] their guilty pleasure, it’s like, you say guilty, what you really mean is just pleasure.”

The Twilight star was seen snapping a pic with one fan while heading to the Christian Dior store on Friday (June 22) in Paris, France.
He looked sharp in his striped denim button-up shirt, black jeans and shoes, and brown-tinted shades.
The day before, he was also spotted keeping it casual in a white and red t-shirt, matching sneakers, and black Nike pants while leaving The Bowery Hotel in New York City.
Rob‘s new movie Damsel, which follows his character traveling across the Wild West to meet his one true love, hits U.S. theaters today! Be sure to check it out.

Robert Pattinson flashes a smirk as he hits the red carpet for the premiere of his new movie Damsel on Wednesday (June 13) at the ArcLight Hollywood Theater in Hollywood.
The 32-year-old actor looked handsome in a charcoal-colored suit as he was joined at the premiere by his co-star Mia Wasikowska.
