Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken swam into theaters on Friday (June 30)!
The new animated movie is the latest feature from DreamWorks Animation, the studio behind hit movies like Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, which are all getting new films to add to their franchises.
In fact, Ruby Gillman is making history for the studio as being the first female title character for a DreamWorks movie.

Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin have a date night at the opening celebration for Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood on Wednesday (February 15) in Universal City, Calif.
The longtime couple kept it fairly casual for their night out at the theme park.
Also in attendance at the opening night were Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Jordin Sparks and son Dana Isaiah Jr, Hocus Pocus 2‘s Sam Richardson, The Marvels‘ Brie Larson, Anderson Paak and Super Mario Bros Movie stars Keegan-Michael Key and Chris Pratt, with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.
That night, it was officially confirmed that the Super Mario-themed land is heading to Universal Studios Orlando.

The 30-years in the making Hocus Pocus 2 premiered on the streamer on Friday (September 30), which reunited original stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker and Doug Jones.
With fans eager to watch the movie among the anticipation, they flocked to view it, making it the biggest film premeire to date on Disney+!

Whitney Peak and Belissa Escobedo meet up at the premiere of their new movie Hocus Pocus 2 held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Tuesday evening (September 27) in New York City.
The stars of the movie were of course joined by much of their cast mates, including Froy Gutierrez, who wore a purple ensemble.
Also seen hitting the carpet were original stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker, each with their spouses (and Sarah‘s daughters Marion and Tabitha), and Doug Jones, as well as new stars Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Lilia Buckingham, Nina Kitchen, Taylor Paige Henderson, Juju Journey Brener and more.

Rachel Zegler, Andrew Garfield and Kaitlyn Dever stepped out for the The Hollywood Reporter Emmy party held on Saturday (September 10) in Los Angeles.
If you recall, all three of them starred in movie musicals that were released within the last four months of 2021!
Also in attendance at the pre-Emmys event were Jasmin Savoy Brown, Harvey Guillen, Sam Richardson and Never Have I Ever stars Richa Moorjani and Poorna Jagannathan.
If you didn’t know, Kaitlyn (Dopesick), Harvey (What We Do in the Shadows) and Jasmin (Yellowjackets) are all part of Emmy-nominated shows this year, while Kaitlyn, Andrew and Sam all have individual acting nominations. You can see the full list of nominees right here!
The 2022 Emmys take place TONIGHT (September 12) at 8pm ET/PT on NBC.
