Disney and Pixar‘s latest animated feature Turning Red is out now, streaming on Disney+!
The new comedy introduces Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager.
And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!
Turning Red features three original songs written by Billie Eilish and Finneas, and even has some familiar faces lending their voices to the cast.

Beauty influencer Patrick Starrr was also seen at the premiere.
If you didn’t know, Billie and her brother, Finneas, worked on the soundtrack for the film. Finneas also appears as one of the members of the fictitious boy band 4*Town, alongside Jordan Fisher, Josh and Topher.
In fact, there are three original songs that Billie and Finneas wrote including “Nobody Like U,” “1 True Love,” and “U Know What’s Up.”
Elle Fanning hits the carpet in shiny pants while arriving at the 2022 SAG Awards held at Barker Hangar on Sunday evening (February 27) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 23-year-old actress met up with Sandra Oh before making her way inside.
Both Elle and Sandra were nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series category for their work in The Great and The Chair, respectively. Unfortunately, they lost out to Jean Smart for Hacks.
Elle‘s Hulu series The Great was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, but they lost to the cast of Ted Lasso.
FYI: Elle is wearing a Gucci look with Cartier jewelry.
Turning Red is heading to Disney+ in just two weeks and the world premiere screening just happened in the UK.
Rosalie Chiang, who voices the role of Mei Lee, joined her movie mom Sandra Oh on the red carpet on Monday (February 21) at Everyman Borough Yards in London, England.
The stars were joined at the premiere by screenwriter and director Domee Shi and producer Lindsey Collins. Singer Anne-Marie, who has a cameo in the movie, also walked the carpet!
Turning Red follows Mei Lee (Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!
The movie premieres on Disney+ on March 11.
