Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans look picture perfect on the red carpet at the 2021 CMA Awards held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 10) in Nashville, Tenn.
The 28-year-old, who recently wrapped up tour with Jonas Brothers, was the winner of two awards at the ceremony.
Kelsea won Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year for “half of my hometown” with Kenny Chesney. Congratulations!
Though she’s been nominated quite a few times before, this is the first time Kelsea has won!
“‘all i wanna do is make them proud’ i love country music. thank you @cma,” Kelsea wrote on Instagram.
Also in attendance was Morgan Evans, who walked the carpet sans wife Kelsea Ballerini, who’s getting ready to kick off the Miss Me More Tour.
Earlier that day, Morgan took a hike with some friends before getting ready for the big event.
“Spent some time in the other side of Vegas this morn before the @acmawards tonight. It’s beautiful out there,” he captioned a couple of photos on Instagram.
In a new interview, the 25-year-old American Idol winner opened up about life as a married man.
“2018 has been the greatest year of my life, especially because it’s the year I got to marry her,” Scotty told People. “She’s incredible and we make a great team, and to be able to go through life together is one of my biggest joys. She always sees the best in people so it rubs off on me when I’m having a down day. Just going home to her perks me up a little.”
Scotty then went on to share some new traditions he and Gabi planning on making as this is their first Christmas together as a married couple.
“One of the traditions Gabi wanted to start this year was for us to go to the mountains of North Carolina and find our own tree and cut it and all that. Let me just say that trees look a lot smaller on the side of a massive mountain,” Scotty shared before revealing what he’s getting for Christmas. “Gabi has been asking for a piano for like five years, so that’s what I’m getting for her. We are getting a studio room together at home so it will go there.”
Scotty and Gabi got married back in July and shared tons of footage from their wedding in his “This Is It” music video!
The singer and second-place winner on the latest season of American Idol stepped out for the the event held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tenn.
He was joined by Scotty McCreery, who won the 10th season of American Idol, as well as Kellie Pickler, a contestant on the fifth season of the series, who wowed in a one-shoulder yellow gown.
Also in attendance was Kellie‘s Pickler & Ben talk show co-host, Ben Aaron, and Scotty‘s wife, Gabi Dugal.

The 23-year-old singer was joined at the event by her “What Ifs” collaborator Kane Brown and his fiancee Katelyn Jae. The singers will perform the song during the show!
Lauren won the award for New Female Vocalist of the Year and Kane was nominated for New Male Vocalist of the Year.
