Shane Dawson just spoke out about all that James Charles drama.

The 30-year-old YouTuber took to Twitter to weigh in on the controversial feud on Monday (May 13).

In case you missed it, James has been in the center of a drama storm ever since his former friend and fellow YouTuber Tati Westbrook posted a video calling him out for bad behavior and formally cutting ties with him.

Shane, who has had collabs with both Tati and James, appears to have remained on Team Tati throughout the drama and its fallout.

“Feeling sad. Everything feels so dark right now,” Shane wrote on Twitter. “Even though I believe some people need to be humbled I also could never enjoy watching someone go through something like this. Today I wanna focus on the good stuff. I feel like I have tea poisoning from seeing all this drama. Send a nice text to a friend today. Give someone a hug. Tweet a link to ur favourite [sic] music video. I dunno… Something nice. I feel like we all need that right now.”

Alissa Violet is finally revealing the truth behind her relationship with Jake Paul.

In one of the final parts of Shane Dawson‘s docu-series, “The Mind of Jake Paul”, Alissa explains that what you saw online between her and Jake was all a showmance.

“We never officially dated, ever,” Alissa says. “…It was just hooking up and I’ve chased him for so long and I wanted him to be my boyfriend. I was just so confused and confronted him every day like, ‘what are we? This hurts so bad’ and he was always just brushing it off. We never really established what we were. We were together, but we weren’t.”

Alissa goes on to reveal that since she signed a contract with both Jake and Logan Paul‘s companies, she had to appear in their videos and work with them.

“I tried for so long to change him, to make him a better person. He just never wanted to change. I tried for so long,” she adds. “That’s why I’m so annoyed in all his videos because I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. I don’t know if we’re together and I try to talk to him about it and he brushes it off and two minutes later, he’s like ‘hey I need you for a video.’ I never knew what we were, ever.”

Alissa also explains the whole scandal of her “cheating” with Logan.

“Jake lied and said that I cheated, but we were never together,” she says. “I was so pissed off, I was so fed up, I was so hurt, I was so disgusted, I was at my breaking point. I hit up Logan and was like, ‘let’s hang out.’ Then me and Logan hooked up and I’m still disgusted by it.”

“It’s not who I am and it’s not who I ever wanted to be. I just feel like I was a pawn in their game, they’re always trying to one up each other. I was just used the whole time, in Team 10, in videos.”

Jake Paul is the latest subject in Shane Dawson‘s documentary series on YouTube, and in a recent vlog admitted that he didn’t want to do it at first.

“It was kind of like a talking back and forth process because I didn’t want to make him took bad or have his fans pissed off at me,” the 21-year-old influencer shared with his fans on his own channel.

But, he signed up for it anyway, admitting that he “knew Shane would make it 100 percent real without any bias and I fully trusted him to do that.”

Jake continued on, sharing that the filming process was hard in general since he was being vulnerable with someone he would not have been otherwise.

“Letting someone into your life, in general, to judge you and film the whole entire thing and film your friends and just talk about your life is not easy, it’s not fun,” he says. “I didn’t expose anyone, I just told my truth about anything Shane asked me about different people or situations. I didn’t want to expose anyone, I didn’t want to cause any more drama than what was already out there so I kind of just told my side of the story.”

Shane Dawson has announced who the next person he has decided to dive into the world of for a docu-series.

The YouTuber and director released a teaser trailer for his upcoming “The Mind of Jake Paul“.

“This is going to be a nightmare,” he says in the video.

Shane has been diving deep into the minds and lives of other YouTubers who have run into some controversy in a string of mini-series on his channel.

Previous subjects include Tana Mongeau and Tanacon, and cosmetics entrepreneur Jeffree Star.

The first part of “The Mind of Jake Paul” will premiere on Shane‘s main channel on Tuesday, September 25th!

Shane Dawson has released the final video in his “The Truth About TanaCon” series, attempting to figure out just what went wrong with the convention.

If you missed it, Tana Mongeau‘s TanaCon was cancelled after she claimed that thousands of unticketed guests showed up, posing a security threat.

Police released a statement later saying that only 4,000 to 5,000 people were there, and that the event sold 4,000 tickets despite renting a space that can only hold 1,150 people.

In the documentary, Shane gets to the truth beyond the stories and theories, giving both Tana and organizer Michael Weist a chance to tell their stories.
