Maddie Ziegler has a budding film career ahead of her and she’s currently hard at work on the upcoming movie Sister, which is being written and directed by her mentor Sia.
The 14-year-old actress and dancer was spotted on the set of the film on Monday (August 7) in Los Angeles.
Maddie was also joined by her co-star Kate Hudson, who recently shaved her head for her role in the movie.
Sia is notorious for covering up her face on the red carpet and while performing on stage, but she wasn’t shy about showing her face while working on the movie.

The 13-year-old So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation judge has appeared in Sia‘s videos for “Big Girls Cry,” “Elastic Heart” and “Chandelier” and performed with her at the 2015 Grammy Awards.
“I’ve learned a lot from her,” Maddie told PeopleStyle. “She’s definitely helped me feel comfortable in my own skin. I always had a fear my teeth were too big, and I wanted to fix them. But she told me not to. She said, ‘It’s what makes you you.’ She always reminds me to stay true to myself.”
Maddie added, “I can’t be perfect at everything and I don’t want to look perfect because I learned to be comfortable and flaws are actually beautiful. Even though she might be older than me, we are best friends. Sometimes she is like one of my closest friends, and I know I’m 13, so it’s really weird to say, but it’s true.”
Maddie Ziegler does an impressive split while on stage at the Apple Keynote presentation on Wednesday (September 7) at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, Calif.
Maddie dances in the music video alongside 49 other kid dancers to represent the 49 victims who tragically lost their lives during the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando earlier this summer.

Celebrities are banding together in order to bring an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, where dogs are tortured and killed in China and other South-East Asian countries each year.
Every June, thousands of dogs are stolen, tortured and then killed for food for the festival, which has been occurring since 2010.
“We all have a duty to protect humanity from atrocities like this #StopDogMeatTrade #TheCompassionProject…Please watch @animalhopeandwellness PSA,” Emma wrote on her Twitter.
