Sierra Capri flirts with fringe for her look while attending Cadillac’s Oscar Week Celebration at Chateau Marmont on Thursday night (February 21) in Los Angeles.

The On My Block star stepped out for her first Oscar party ever with co-star Jessica Marie Garcia, Anne Winters and her boyfriend, Taylor Beau.

After movie star Inanna Sarkis shined in silver inside the party, alongside Olympian figure skaters Maia and Alex Shibutani, Eva Gutowski, Roswell, New Mexico‘s Heather Hemmens, and The Gifted‘s Emma Dumont.

The second season of On My Block is officially wrapped up, which only means that new episodes are finally on their way!

If you don’t know, the series is a coming of age comedy about four bright and street-savvy friends navigating their way through the triumph, pain and the newness of high-school set in LA’s South Central neighborhood.

Sierra Capri and Jessica Marie Garcia shared a video on social media shortly after filming their final scenes of the season.

“Last night ♥️🥂 s2 that’s a wrappppp,” Jessica shared. “I love these people! I love our show! I love all y’all patiently waiting!!! WE SEE YOU!!!! 💋 it’ll be worth the wait ;)”

The core four of On My Block hit the stage to accept the surfboard for Choice Breakout Show at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 12) in Inglewood, Calif.

Sierra Capri, Diego Tinoco, Jason Genao and Brett Gray were joined by co-stars Jessica Marie Garcia and Ronni Hawk at the event, and all were very thankful for the win.

“Holy crap!!! WE WON!!!!” Jessica, who plays Jasmine, reacted on Twitter. “Thank you to all the fans for voting everyday!! We love you more than we could ever show you! Thank you!!!!”

On My Block was renewed for a season two by Netflix earlier this year.

The Alexa & Katie star met up with her co-stars Finn Carr and Emery Kelly inside the bash, as well as the On My Block cast – Diego Tinoco, Jason Genao, Ronni Hawk, Brett Gray, Jessica Marie Garcia, and Sierra Capri.

Lost in Space‘s Ignacio Serricchio, Maxwell Jenkins, and Mina Sundwall, One Day at a Time‘s Isabella Gomez, Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later‘s Joey Bragg and American Vandal‘s Tyler Alvarez were also at the party.

When you hear that one of your favorite shows is coming back for another season, of course you’re going to celebrate – but Jason Genao had the best reaction of all of us after hearing that On My Block was renewed for a second season.

In a new video, Jason, who plays Ruby, jumps around after hearing about the pick up news, before trying to play it cool again, saying, “I knew it.”

“Y’all was wondering what was happening to Ruby, and now you’re gonna find out,” he adds in a message to fans.

Sierra Capri is probably one of your favorite new stars, and she definitely should be!

The 20-year-old actress stars as Monse in Netflix’s On My Block, and she owes it all to another really kind actress who helped her out.

“I was actually an extra in the movie, Hidden Figures,” Sierra told Hidden Remote about one of her first acting projects. “One of the cast members was giving a seminar which would become the place that I met someone who would help me film my self-tape that I submitted for On My Block.”

Sierra adds that she “definitely owes a lot to that woman. Her name is Deja Dee and until this day she is a mentor of mine. I’m really grateful for her.”

Starring as an extra in Hidden Figures was also a big experience for her.

“That as a very unique experience as well. Everyone was so sweet, Taraji P. Henson, she was one of the sweetest people I have ever met on a set that I wasn’t really part of,” Sierra says.

“It was great, I enjoyed meeting so many people and everything that came with being there for hours. It’s what you love, if you love what you do then it doesn’t feel like work. It was definitely fun.”

On My Block is streaming on Netflix now.

“Build a community of support and love…because it makes your whole life so much easier,” Kira told JJJ.

Liza added, “Do not worry about how you are perceived! You do you! Wear makeup if you want to, try different clothes if you want to…Try whatever you want, you’re young, you’re fabulous…but learn how to draw on your eyebrows!”
