The Wanted‘s Siva Kaneswaran gives a peace sign to the cameras as he arrives back at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon (December 8).
The 26-year-old singer joined Jay McGuiness and Max George at the airport after performing in Mexico over the past weekend.
“You know the world thought, ay we split! We actually just went on a long break and I keep on saying it, and everyone just thinks, ‘Oh my god they split up oh my god!’ [Laughs], when it really is just that we needed a break,” Siva dished to Latina recently about the band’s break.
He continued, “What I think personally, and this is just me saying this, I think that we will get back together at some point – maybe this year. And I can tell you now, if we do come back, we’re coming back stronger than we were before. You know, with better music, and we’d look even hotter than we did three years ago [Laughs]. There’s no way we can’t. I can tell you now; I would look absolutely hotter than I did two years ago.”

The Wanted‘s Siva Kaneswaran gets up close and personal with his fans after taping his appearance on Extra at Universal CityWalk in Universal City, Calif., on Wednesday afternoon (July 9).
The 25-year-old singer/model just moved to Los Angeles last month and is blogging all about his experience with Hello! magazine.
“This past week was my first 4th of July in America, their Independence Day! Americans usually celebrate by watching fireworks, and indulging in other festivities. I celebrated with my American friends at a pool party. What better way to celebrate!” he wrote in his most recent entry.

Steven recently opened up about Spike TV’s documentary I Am Steve McQueen, which is about his grandfather, who he was named after.
“I saw the documentary for the first time last night. It was incredible,” Steven told The Wrap. “I never got to meet my grandfather and I’m sure the younger audiences don’t know much about him. So, it was cool for myself to learn about him, and hopefully some people that watch.”

Siva Kaneswaran recently opened up about his future album and that pesky feud with One Direction.
The 25-year-old The Wanted singer is moving out to Los Angeles and plans to have his solo album out in “hopefully less than than a year,” he told Access Hollywood.

“There was a feud. There were a few Twitter comments that were passed, sent along and there were a few replies by a few of the boys,” Siva told Access Hollywood about the reported feud between One Direction and The Wanted.
He continued to say, “But it kind of went to its peak and then it kind of just stopped for a bit and then we all kind of agreed to just put it away and move forward because I was like it was too much drama. It was battle of the boy bands and you’re just like, let’s move on. We got some music to do and – but now it’s cool.”
Siva Kaneswaran meets a few fans outsid of the Fusion TV Studios in Miami, Fla., on Friday afternoon (May 9).
The 25-year-old The Wanted singer had a busy morning with interviews all over the coastal city before his concert later in the night.
“I’ll take something like Lionel Richie or Earth Wind & Fire and mix that with something new, like Coldplay,” Siva recently told Paper mag about his solo career after the farewell tour.
