Ariana is definitely seeking that number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100, which has been held by rapper Lil Nas X for the past 17 weeks.
In the video, you can see Ariana go into attack mode after seeing another woman chatting with her “boyfriend.” When she dances with another guy, then the boyfriend goes into attack mode. Eventually, they make up!

The 26-year-old singer teamed up with Social House for the new song, which marks her first music release since February.
“i feel like this song captures a common theme in the lives of so many people i know! people want to feel love but don’t want to define their relationship & have trouble fully committing or trusting or allowing themselves to fully love someone. even tho they want to,” Ariana wrote on Twitter about the song’s inspiration.
She added, “we wanted to make something uplifting that captures that feeling of being afraid to take the leap & trust, being afraid of being hurt or feeling like you won’t be enough for that person … but also how it feels to have a crippling crush on someone.”

Social House is currently one of the acts opening up for Ariana on her Sweetener World Tour. They also produced her smash hit singles “thank u, next” and “7 Rings.”
“For me, ‘Haunt You’ is about making the best of the time you have with loved ones regardless of the circumstances because time is something you’ll NEVER get back,” Scootie said of the song.
“‘Haunt You’ is about appreciating the beauty in the things you love, even if they’re no longer yours,” Mikey added.
