Zoella has resurfaced on social media after taking a break from the internet over the holiday season.

The British social starlet shared a cute Instagram Story late last night, updating fans on just where’s she been all this time.

“I spent the last few weeks recovering from flu, having Xmas fun times, and more importantly, an internet detox,” she writes. “Which I do every year (I think of it like re-charging my brain battery).”

During her break from the internet, Zoella has been reading new books, binge-watching Big Little Lies, got “addicted to rollercoaster tycoon”, and spent 70% of her time in PJ’s, and “hardly washed my hair and I was completely okay with that.”

In light of the Logan Paul video and backlash, Gabi DeMartino has taken some time out to reflect on her own videos.

The digital influencer released a statement on her Twitter over the weekend about a situation regarding a homeless man in one of her past videos that shouldn’t have happened and owns up to it.

“I was very immature and said and did things in my videos without realizing the audience I would gain later on. Everyone makes mistakes and grows up, but unfortunately my f*** ups are caught on camera,” Gabi writes.

She continues later, “it was really damn immature of me, and I would never do that today. Ever. I grew up on YouTube and it’s the hardest way to grow up…I wanted to believe if I never addressed it, that people would forget about it, but unfortunately, the same troll account keeps attaching it to every single video about me.”

“it’s a reminder everyday of my mistake and although I deserve that, I just want you to understand that the girl in that video was a teenager who didn’t even know who she was. She was delusional.”

Digital creators and social stars are not happy with Logan Paul after his controversial video he posted over the weekend about his trip to Japan.

In the video, Logan paid a visit to Aokigahara, a forest at the base of Mt. Fuji known as the “Japanese Suicide Forest” and upon coming upon a dead man’s body, he included the footage in the video.

iJustine, Ricky Dillon, Eva Gutowski, Anna Akana and more social stars are disappointed in Logan and have shared their thoughts about what he did on social media.

“I’m hoping that video is “just a prank bro” – which would be EVEN WORSE. There is just no possible way anyone who witnessed that in person could laugh, or make jokes, let alone FILM IT,” iJustine wrote. “I’m beyond disturbed and I’m an adult. No child should be subjected to that, real or not.”

Justine even called out YouTube about the video, urging them to have repercussions for this kind of content.

“@YouTube you CANNOT ignore this. You have so many incredibly talented content creators who strive to make this platform a better place. Stop promoting the trash that makes us all look bad.”

While Logan apologized and deleted the video, the damage has been done.
