Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson & More 'Descendants' Stars Attend Cameron Boyce Foundation Gala 2024

Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart, Sofia Carson grab a cute group photo while arriving for the 2024 Cam For a Cause Gala held at The Beehive on Sunday evening (June 2) in Los Angeles.

The Descendants trio snapped quite a few pics together, including one where Dove and Sofia kiss Booboo on the cheek.

Other Descendants stars in attendance at the annual The Cameron Boyce Foundation event were China Anne McClain, Sarah Jeffery and Brenna D’Amico, as well as director Kenny Ortega.

The late Cameron Boyce‘s parents Victor and Libby, as well as sister Maya, with boyfriend PJ Diaz, stepped out as well.

For Cameron‘s 25th birthday (May 28th) this year, the foundation was looking to raise $10k to go towards its mission to honor Cam‘s legacy by “aiming to cure epilepsy through funding research, education and awareness campaigns while still supporting causes that were important to Cameron.” You can donate HERE!

Also attending this year’s gala included Dove‘s boyfriend Damiano David, Cameron‘s Rust co-stars Nicole Elizabeth Berger and Aramis Knight, his Jessie co-stars Karan Brar and Kevin Chamberlin, close friends Paulina Char and Sophie Reynolds, last year’s Cameron Boyce Foundation Youth Empowerment Award recipient Yara Shahidi, That ’90s Show‘s Maxwell Acee Donovan, Taylor and Tay Lautner, Nolan Gould, The Slumber Party star Darby Camp and Young Sheldon‘s Raegan Revord.

At the event, Booboo also did a live art drawing, while Taylor and Tay Lautner were presented with the Cameron Boyce Foundation’s Youth Empowerment Award!

The night was full of reunions and love at the 2023 Cameron Boyce Foundation Gala held at Citizen News Hollywood on Thursday night (June 1) in Los Angeles.

Descendants stars and part of the “Core Four,” Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart and Sofia Carson, reunited and snapped quite a few super cute photos together, plus co-stars Sarah Jeffery, with boyfriend Joseph Vecsey, Brenna D’Amico and Diane Doan, and director Kenny Ortega.

Cameron‘s family, parents Victor and Libby, and sister Maya stepped out, along with Yara Shahidi, who received the Cameron Boyce Foundation’s Youth Empowerment Award, for her “activism surrounding STEM awareness, women’s rights, civil rights, and her countless acts of kindness towards others.”

Sophie Reynolds, Paulina Char, Sofia Carson, Dove Cameron and Karan Brar pose for a group photo while attending the inaugural The Cameron Boyce Foundation’s Cam For a Cause Gala held at Soho Warehouse on Wednesday (May 18) in Los Angeles.

The close friends of the late Cameron Boyce joined his parents Victor and Libby Boyce, as well as his sister Maya, and more of Cameron‘s past co-stars and friends at the event.

The event was held to help raise funds and awareness for the fight against Epilepsy and SUDEP, and was held just a couple of weeks before what would have been Cameron‘s 23rd birthday.

Sarah Jeffery, Karan Brar and Sophie Reynolds hit the red carpet at the premiere of the new movie Runt held at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres on Wednesday (September 22) in Hollywood.

The actors stepped out to show their support for their late friend Cameron Boyce‘s final film.

“last night Cameron’s final film premiered 🤍 proud of him and grateful to @runtmovie for their generous donation to @thecameronboycefoundation,” Sophie shared on Instagram.

Cameron Boyce's Friends & Family Remember Him 1 Year After His Passing

We can’t believe it’s been a whole year since Cameron Boyce sadly passed away.

The Descendants actor lost his life to Epilepsy on July 6, 2019, and his legacy has been living on ever since.

On the anniversary of his death, Cameron‘s close friends and family remembered him with photos and special messages on Instagram.

“Today, though our hearts are heavy, we choose to honor the incredible legacy Cameron leaves behind, and our commitment to use our resources to make our world a better place. Much love, TCBF 🙏,” Cam‘s family said through The Cameron Boyce Foundation’s Instagram.

Cameron‘s roommates and best friends, Karan Brar and Sophie Reynolds, both shared information on what to do when someone is having a seizure.

“To our angel, It’s been 365 days of missing you. And every day, we miss you a little more. Not having you, hurts too much. But somehow, you still manage to light up our whole entire world. Our Cam. Our forever boy. Our sunshine wearing shoes. I miss you. So much. I love you. And I will love you. Forever,” Sofia Carson shared on her account.

“one year without your light. something cosmic broke the day you left, something seemingly so impossible, so unjust, so unnatural. the universe cannot repair the gap in her weaving. you were huge. i will love you forever, just like this,” Dove Cameron wrote.

Karan Brar, Sophie Reynolds, & Cameron Boyce's Family Launch 'K(NO)W SUDEP NOW'

The Cameron Boyce Foundation has teamed up with the Epilepsy Foundation to launch a new initiative, K(NO)W SUDEP NOW!

The late actor’s friends Karan Brar and Sophie Reynolds, and his family, Victor, Libby and Maya, appear in a video message to talk about the fight to end SUDEP, Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.

K(NO)W SUDEP NOW aims to bring awareness and to end sudden unexpected death in epilepsy through education and helping accelerate research.

“The Cameron Boyce Foundation & @epilepsyfdn are teaming up in the fight to end SUDEP. Check out @knowsudepnow to learn, share, and donate so we can work together and save lives. đź’ś,” Karan wrote on social media.
