The CW is slowly pulling it’s shows off of the network.
Batwoman and Supergirl are the latest shows to get their new episodes pushed due to the health crisis.
The Arrowverse shows now join The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to pause the airing of new episodes.
All of the Arrowverse shows, and many more series and films, had to put production on hold in order to help prevent the spread.
According to TVLine, Supergirl was almost done filming the season before they had to stop. The season finale was left to be filmed.
Another factor that could now come into play causing the Supergirl season to possibly end early, is that star Melissa Benoist is now pregnant with her first child.
Supergirl is hitting a major milestone tonight (February 23)!
The CW series, which is part of the Arrowverse, is airing it’s 100th episode, and star Melissa Benoist has been celebrating all weekend leading up to the moment, sharing pics from season one.
“From shooting the @supergirlcw pilot 5 YEARS AGO. That is the face of a baby who had no idea the crazy ride she was about to take. Our 100th episode airs this Sunday 𤯠#supergirl100,” she captioned one pic.
“Tomorrow we hit 100 episodes! That is a lot of television! And a lot of heat vision! A lot of all the visions! And I need more @thomaspatricklennon like I need MORE COWBELL!!! #supergirl100,” she wrote with a pic from the 100th episode.
Here’s a synopsis for “It’s a Super Life”: Mxyzptlk (Thomas Lennon) returns with a proposition for Kara — what if she could go back in time and tell Lena (Katie McGrath) her secret before Lex did, would things turn out different? Looking back over key moments throughout the series, Kara must decide if she wants to change history to become friends with Lena again. Familiar faces return in this special episode.
Tune in for the 100th episode of Supergirl TONIGHT (February 23) at 9/8c after an all new episode of Batwoman on The CW!

The epic five-episode crossover event Crisis On Infinite Earths is coming to a close tonight (January 14)!
In “Part Four”, Stuck in the Vanishing Point, the Paragons search for a way to escape. The futility of the situation is compounded by The Flash’s (Grant Gustin) disappearance. However, hope appears in the form of Oliver (Stephen Amell), who reveals that he has become something else. Meanwhile, the origin stories for The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) and Anti-Monitor are revealed.
In “Part Five”, all that is said is, âWorlds lived, worlds died. Nothing will ever be the same.â
“What happens at the end of the crossover changes everything, for all the shows. There is definitely some sticking power to that. And dealing what is going on with Oliver has a big effect on Sara, for sure,” Caity Lotz dished to TV Line about the finale. “You donât have to worry too much. Then again, nobody is safe, so maybe you should worry…”
Tune in for the two part Crisis On Infinite Earths finale TONIGHT (January 14), starting at 8pm ET on The CW!
