The future of two of The CW‘s shows are currently up in the air amidst the latest DC news!
New heads of DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran, have just unveiled their plans for an intertwined television and movie slate.
However, it was revealed to press in those plans that the new duo, who has been mapping out their DC Universe, has parted ways with longtime DC television producer Greg Berlanti, according to THR.

A new actor was announced to be playing Lex Luthor in the upcoming third season of Superman & Lois on Tuesday (January 24).
After the news was revealed, many were wondering why Jon Cryer couldn’t reprise the role after previously portraying the supervillain on Supergirl.

Superman & Lois is adding another DC villain to it’s upcoming third season!
It was just announced that Lex Luthor is coming to Smallville on the CW series, and the actor who will portray him has been revealed.
This will actually be the third time someone has played Lex on The CW, following Michael Rosenbaum on The WB’s Smallville and Jon Cryer on Supergirl.
Superman & Lois kicks off it’s next season in less than two months.

The first trailer for the upcoming third season of Superman & Lois has arrived!
The CW dropped the first look this week, and it offers a first look at Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent.
If you recall, Jordan Elsass left the role in August 2022, and around a month later, it was announced that Michael had been cast as his replacement.

The midseason return and new season premiere dates for all of The CW‘s shows have been revealed!
Several of the current shows will be back in the new year with new episodes in their same time slots, including Walker and Walker Independence, which have both already come back with new episodes. The Winchesters, however, is getting a new time.
Season premiere dates have also been revealed for the final seasons of The Flash, Riverdale and Nancy Drew, plus the return of Superman & Lois, and the series premiere of Gotham Knights.

The CW is rolling out premiere dates for it’s shows that are set to debut during the midseason!
First we got dates for the midseason returns, then we got the final season premiere date for The Flash.
Now, the network has revealed the premiere dates for the return of Superman & Lois and the series debut of Gotham Knights.

The CW is just about to kick off the fall season next week!
A handful of staple shows won’t be on the schedule this fall, including Riverdale, The Flash, Nancy Drew and Superman & Lois, which have all been moved to midseason.
Starting with the season premiere of DC’s Stargirl, the network will then see the returns of several of it’s shows, including All American, All American: Homecoming, Kung Fu and Walker, as well as non-scripted series Penn & Teller: Fool Us and World’s Funniest Animals.
New to The CW this year will include prequel series Walker Independence and The Winchesters, as well as new dramas Professionals and Family Law.
