The CW has just announced when all of your favorite shows will be coming back!
The network unveiled the schedule for the Fall 2020/2021 season, which will actually kick off in January 2021, Deadline reports.
CW President Mark Pedowitz shared that the late start won’t affect the number of episodes, and the episodes that weren’t able to be filmed due to productions being shut down, will be filmed and included in the new seasons.
Most shows will continue with the same dates and times, with a few changes.
New shows Superman & Lois and Walker have been inserted into the schedule. Superman & Lois will air on Tuesday nights after The Flash, and Walker has taken over Supernatural‘s Thursday night time slot.
Another notable change is Charmed, which will move from Friday nights back to it’s original Sunday nights, taking the place of Supergirl, which is being put on hold, likely due to Melissa Benoist‘s pregnancy.
Supernatural‘s final episodes will also be filmed and those will air this fall in it’s regular time slot, Thursday night at 8/7c.
Supernatural is currently in it’s 15th and final season, and two former guest stars are returning!
Genevieve Padalecki and Danneel Ackles are set to make an appearance in the 13th episode of the season, airing on Monday (March 23).
Genevieve, who is married to Jared Padalecki, hasn’t been on the show since she had a recurring role in season four, while Danneel, married to Jensen Ackles, first appeared in season 13, then again in season 14. They will both reprise their characters Ruby and Jo, respectively.
In “Destiny’s Child”, a search for the one thing that may give the Winchesters an edge against God leads Sam and Dean to Jo’s door and to a secret that may have died with Ruby. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) asks Jack (Alexander Calvert) to do the unthinkable to help the brothers in their quest.
Tune in to see Genevieve Padalecki and Danneel Ackles on Supernatural on Monday (March 23) at 8/7c on The CW!
Nancy Drew returns first, on January 15 at 9/8c, and Supernatural‘s final season returns on January 16 at 8/7c.
Arrow kicks off its final episodes post-Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover on January 21 at 8/7c. The season five premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow follows at 9 p.m. The Flash returns on February 4.
Adam Milligan is back and bringing some drama to Sam and Dean’s lives on tonight’s mid-season finale of Supernatural!
Jake Abel, who stars as Adam, told TVLine that bringing back the character at almost the last minute is worth it.
“I was hearing that they would bring so many people back from Hell, back from the dead, back from wherever they may be, but poor Adam was always forgotten. In some ways, I think maybe the delayed gratification will pay off,” he says. “It’s fitting that Adam was introduced in the “Jump the Shark” episode [as] this long-lost third brother, and then to sort of do it again on the final season, it’s much more poetic than coming back at mid-series run. It’s much more dramatic to come back at the very end. So I think it was worth the wait.
In “Our Father, Who Aren’t in Heaven”, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel’s (Misha Collins) continued search for a way to defeat Chuck (Rob Benedict) leads them to unexpected places and toward unlikely allies.
Supernatural‘s mid season finale airs TONIGHT, December 12th @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
