Ariana Grande is well aware that her brand new “7 Rings” tattoo is misspelled.
The singer’s new ink – which is in Japanese – is supposed to spell out the name of “7 Rings”, but it doesn’t.
It actually translates to “shichirin”, which is a Japanese style BBQ grill.
Ariana took to Twitter and tweeted (and then deleted) an explanation when people began pointing out the mistake.
“Indeed, I left out ‘つの指,’ which should have gone in between,” Ariana wrote to a fan. “It hurt like f–k n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”
She also added, “also….huge fan of tiny bbq grills.”

Dove Cameron celebrated her 23rd birthday in style last night (January 15) in New York City.
On top of a fun party with boyfriend Thomas Doherty, and her closest friends and co-stars, the actress and singer invited a tattoo artist so if they wanted, guests could get a tattoo!
Dove shared with fans on her Instagram stories that many of her friends, many from Clueless: The Musical, got special new tattoos commemorating the musical.
“Plaid for days,” Dove captioned while filming one of her friends’ tattoo process.
Even Thomas got a tattoo on his wrist, which reads “à naître”. It means to be born.

The YouTube makeup artist convinced his little brother Ian to let him do a tattoo on his body.
“I love art and have always appreciated tattoos and wanted to learn more, so we teamed up with Romeo Lacoste to create a permanent piece of art on Ian forever,” James wrote in the video notes.
While at the tattoo shop, James not only gave his brother a tattoo, but he also decided to get one of his own!
James got the word “Sisters” on the inside of his lip, which is fitting since he calls everyone “Sister” and says it quite often.

KJ Apa is one of our fave stars who sport serious ink on their bodies.
The Riverdale actor opened up to People over the weekend about his tattoos and his no regret policy on getting them.
On top of his neck tattoo, a shoulder one, and one on his forearm, KJ also has another tattoo of a bumblebee with a wreath around it – it matches with his grandmother and mom.
“I got the wreath around it when I was actually waiting for another tattoo that is on my left shoulder,” he shared. “I’m addicted to them — I love tattoos, I love the art of them, and I love the experience of getting them.”
KJ adds that he has a no regrets philosophy about the tattoos he does have.
“I’m straight in there,” he says. “I don’t think about it, otherwise, when you think about it you might end up changing your mind.”
The 22-year-old Shadowhunters star opened up about the meaning behind the tiny flower/tree inked on her the inside of her third left hand finger.
“Ginkgo leaves symbolize endurance, hope, and longevity,” Katherine explained. “These trees were my great grandmother’s favorite and her love for them has been passed down through the women in my family.”
She adds, “I’ve grown up surrounded by strong, enduring, hopeful women and so thankful for it. Thank you @east_01 for helping me celebrate this love and always keep it close. 💛 #ginkgo.”
