6 DC Actors Are Confirmed to Reprise Their Roles In the New DCU, Co-CEO James Gunn Confirms

6 DC Actors Are Confirmed to Reprise Their Roles In the New DCU, Co-CEO James Gunn Confirms

There has been talk of who would still be in the DC Universe after the regime change.

Once James Gunn and Peter Safran took over and unveiled their plans, there was some crossover of what the old DCEU was in terms of characters.

While there has been talk of which ones would in fact be transferring from the old DCEU to the new DCU, James has recently confirmed that there are in fact, at least four that will be back.

There has also been a little confusion on what marks the beginning of the new DCU. James previously said his new Superman: Legacy movie would be the first, but the actual first project will be the upcoming animated series Creature Commandos, which James shared will be a bit of an appetizer to the DCU.

“Nothing is canon until Creature Commandos next year – a sort of aperitif to the DCU – & then a deeper dive into the universe with Superman: Legacy after that. It’s a very human drive to want to understand everything all the time, but I think its okay to be confused on what’s happening in the DCU since no one has seen anything from the DCU yet,” he wrote on Threads.

Now, you may be wondering who is confirmed to return to the DCU, and we’ve got you covered. There are six actors confirmed to be reprising their roles, so far.
