Anneliese Van Der Pol Was Excited Returning to Disney for 'Raven's Home' After 'Living Paycheck to Paycheck'

Anneliese Van Der Pol is opening up about returning to the Disney Channel for Raven’s Home.

The actress of course reprised her role of Chelsea Daniels from That’s So Raven for the reboot series, which saw her and Raven as adults and single mothers.

During a recent appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast, Anneliese was asked how she felt about going back to Disney after all these years. Her last appearance prior to Raven’s Home was on an episode of Shake It Up in 2011.

Every Original 'That's So Raven' Character Who Has Returned on 'Raven's Home' - So Far!

Raven’s Home just kicked off it’s sixth season on Disney Channel!

The series centers on Raven Baxter (Raven Symone) and her son Booker (Issac Ryan Brown), who has inherited her psychic abilities, as they move to her hometown of San Francisco to look after her father (Rondell Sheridan), who suffered a mild heart attack.

Now Raven finds herself parenting her parent, raising her young cousin (Mykal-Michelle Harris) and settling into life in her old hometown. Meanwhile, Booker is “the new kid” at Raven’s old high school and has to keep his visions a secret from a new group of friends.

Raven’s Home has had over 100 episodes, while the original series That’s So Raven ended after 100 episodes.

It's Official: 'That's So Raven' Spinoff Picked Up by Disney Channel -- Meet the Cast

In the best news of the day so far, Raven Simone‘s revival of her hit Disney Channel show has officially been picked up by the network and will be called Raven’s Home.

Bringing back her witty character, the story follows Raven‘s character, Raven, and her best friend Chelsea Daniels, aka series original Anneliese van der Pol. The two are now divorced, single mothers raising their families.

One of Raven’s kids has inherited her ability to see into the future, and now Raven has to be the parent and deal with it!

The show is going into production this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and will debut in 2017.

We can’t wait.

VIDEO: Orlando Brown Explains Why He Won't Be Returning for 'That's So Raven' Spin-Off!

Remember Orlando Brown from the Disney Channel original series That’s So Raven?

Well, if you were a big fan of the original cast, you might be sad to hear Orlando won’t be returning to Raven Symone‘s spin-off series to reprise his role as Eddie Thomas!

Instead, YouTube star Alonzo Lerone will take on the role.

“So happy to announce that I will be replacing Eddie on ‘That’s So Raven 2′ as Raven’s love interest,” Alonzo wrote on Twitter. “Thank you @ravensymone.”

In a new video, Orlando opens up about the casting choice, noting that while some fans might be disappointed, he still wishes his friend and former co-star well.

'That's So Raven' Spinoff: New Details Emerge About Raven's Kids!

We’re still reeling from the exciting news that there is going to be a That’s So Raven spinoff — and now there are even more details coming up!

TVLine reports that casting is underway for Raven’s (Raven Symone) children, Nia and Booker.

Nia is described as “bold, confident and driven”, and someone who often gets in over her head. She “believes in helping people and doing what’s right, even if it gets her into trouble”. She also inherited psychic powers from her mother.

Meanwhile, Booker is said to be naive and innocent, yet “surprisingly adept at turning the tables and standing up for himself”.

We’re still waiting to hear if Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol) is coming back — we sure hope so!

'That's So Raven' Getting New Spinoff From Disney Channel!

Raven Symone, who starred as Raven Baxter on our fave show, That’s So Raven, is coming back to Disney Channel for a new spin-off!

She’ll be leaving her place on The View and heading back to Los Angeles where she’ll star in the new series, as well as serve as an executive producer.

On the untitled spinoff, Raven is now a divorced mother of two pre-teen kids, one of whom has inherited her ability to catch glimpses of the future.
