Netflix picked up quite a few noms, including a whopping seven (three of which are in the same category) for the fan favorite musical series Julie and the Phantoms.
By the looks of it, it seems as though Anais and Vivian will be promoted to series regulars in the second season, which is super exciting!
The show, based on the best-selling book series by Ann M. Martin, and follows the friendship and adventures of Kristy Thomas (Grace), Mary-Anne Spier (Baker), Claudia Kishi (Tamada), Stacey McGill (Rudolph), and Dawn Schafer (Gomez) as the middle-schoolers start their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut.
The 13-year-old actress can currently be seen in the new Netflix series The Baby-Sitters Club.
Anais plays the role of Jessi Ramsey in the two-part “Hello, Camp Moosehead!”
Though Jessi is only in two episodes in season one, executive producer Rachel Shukert dished on the importance of the character, and the potential of a bigger role in future seasons.
“I think it will look a lot the way that the books do because they come in later in the [story]. That’s something that I always liked about Mallory and Jessi, is that the first relationship that you have, especially with people that are a little bit older than you are, where you can idolize them and hope they think that you’re cool enough and there’s always a little bit of a drive to survive, is an interesting thing to explore,” she told ET.
“I also think that Jessi is an interesting character because she’s someone who is so focused on ballet — the way that an athlete is. That’s a different kind of character than we’ve seen often, somebody who really has the eye on the prize,” Rachel added. “I think both of those characters are interesting to explore, especially with each other and just the way they fit into the larger picture of the club, which will be a big part of future seasons, should we be so lucky to get one.”
You may also recognize Anais from playing the younger version of Yara Shahidi in The Sun Is Also a Star.

I’m an only child, but I have tons of cousins. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a sibling, but it’s pretty cool to have all the family focus, especially during the holidays. Hahah!
I’ve been in improv classes since I was about 8 years old. I love doing improv because you get to work with others and make funny sketches. It really helps you think on your feet and get comfortable being spontaneous.
I learned to skateboard while filming Season 1 of The Baby-Sitters Club in Canada. Vancouver has the best and cleanest skate parks and even free classes on the weekends.
Costume designer Cynthia Summers created the new and updated look for my character Dawn in The Baby-Sitters Club. She was inspired by a combination of urban looks she pieced together to create a signature style.
I love artichokes and raccoons. I even have raccoon themed wallpaper in my room.
The young starlet will star as Claudia Kishi, the vice-president of The Baby-Sitters Club and an all-around fashion maven on the Netflix show.

I love fashion but Claudia’s wardrobe was a definite eye opener and encouraged me to try new clothes out!”
