Skandar, 19, recently chatted with Lebanese journalist Ronith Daher about the release in Lebanon.
He shared, “I think it’s great! One of my favourite moments of the whole Narnian experience was seeing the second film being shown in Lebanon. I know it’s a relatively small market when you compare it to the rest of the world but it still means a lot to me.”

“If we did get the entrance to Narnia wrong, it would’ve set a bad tone for the rest of the film,” Georgie Henley, who plays Lucy in the series, says in the clip.
“I was thinking, if this is done right it will look really fantastic. I also thought it’s going to be very difficult,” adds the 15-year-old British actress.
In order to perfect the transition scene, producers created several sets including one in a tank. Rather than fill the room with water, the room was actually placed in the water!
Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley snap a pic with Dennis Kelly as they unveil one of the new lion cub’s name at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo Lion Cub naming ceremony in Washington, D.C., on Thursday morning (December 9).
One of the new lion cubs will be named Aslan, after the God-like lion in The Chronicles of Narnia movies. “We are very excited to be a part of this very special event,” Georgie shared, “The fictional Aslan and his world have been such an important part of our lives for the past several years.”
Skandar added: “It’s wonderful to see how he’s inspired these important conservation efforts.”
