The clip in question finds Mariana talking with Emma (Amanda Leighton) about the pros and cons of telling Jesus (Noah Centineo) about something that Emma did.

“We’ve been here before,” Mariana tells her. “He was on board then. Now, he’s older and more mature. He can deal.”

The Fosters‘ upcoming spinoff, starring Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez, finally has a title!

Freeform confirmed today (May 23) that the new show would be called Good Trouble – and that’s not even the best part.

Sharing a page of the script, you can see that both Maia and Cierra, who will reprise their roles as Callie and Mariana, are executive producers, too!

Good Trouble centers on Callie and Mariana as they embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles, and Jon M. Chu is attached to direct and executive produce the first episode, which will begin production this summer.

“We’re seeing millennials in this country doing extraordinary things, making noise, taking action. Stirring up ‘Good Trouble’ as they grow, strive and struggle to make the mess of their early twenties into the message,” Joanna Johnson, Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg, the other EPs, shared in a joint statement.

They add, “As Callie and Mariana venture to Los Angeles to start their adult lives and embark on their separate but intertwined journeys to change the world, they’re going to have all the ‘Good Trouble’ they can handle.”

Callie and Mariana move out and move to a new city, Los Angeles. While living together, they take two very different paths and explore the different sides of the city – Mariana will be involved in the tech world, possibly in Silicon Beach, while Callie will continue the kind of social work she’s done.
