The Parr family is back at it again in the brand-new trailer for The Incredibles 2!
Disney/Pixar dropped the new footage on Friday (April 13).
In Incredibles 2, Helen (Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dash (Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered.
Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
We’re just a couple months away from Incredibles 2, and now we have a brand-new poster to whet our appetites!
The new art was revealed on the film’s official Twitter page on Friday (March 30).
It features the Parr family posing in front of a tropical beach background, though none of them realized they probably should have taken their masks off before tanning!
It also features the tagline, “It’s going to be an incredible summer.”
Incredibles 2 will tell the story of Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) as he is left to care for Jack-Jack while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world.
The first official trailer for The Incredibles 2 is out!
The trailer for the highly-anticipated Disney animated movie was released during the 2018 Winter Olympics – and you can watch it here!
Here is the film’s official description: Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 – but this time Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together again” – which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

When someone asks you to name your favorite Pixar movie, The Incredibles just rolls off your tongue, right? Well, it should.
Today (July 14) at the D23 Expo, it was announced that the sequel movie, The Incredibles 2, will be picking up right where it left off — with The Underminer.
“It starts right as the first one finishes, so it just carries on,” John Lasseter told IGN.
The Underminer, voiced by Pixar good luck charm John Ratzenberger, appeared just moments before the end of the movie, a mole-like villain who emerged from the earth from a drill.
He adds, “It starts with the Underminer and a big old set piece. You know that at the end of the first movie when he comes up and you see the family dressed as superheroes, well that’s where start this movie.”
We can’t wait! The Incredibles 2 will be out next year.
While other stars were sharing their fun-filled 4ths to social media yesterday, the 20-year-old posted an Instagram yesterday in which she resembles… Edna Mode.
Yes, that Edna Mode, the quirky costume designer from The Incredibles with a distinct loathing for capes.
“shoot 4 tha stars,” Maisie captioned the photo, in which she is posing with the pink glasses Snapchat filter, her face distorted to be rounder and larger. Above the photo is a shot of Edna Mode, looking strikingly similar.
