Halle Bailey stars front and center on the new poster for her upcoming Disney movie The Little Mermaid!
The actress takes on the titular role in the live-acting reimagining of the classic animated movie.
In addition to the poster, Disney revealed that the full trailer will drop THIS Sunday (March 12) during the 2023 Oscars, where Halle and co-star Melissa McCarthy are confirmed as presenters.
Recently, Halle opened up about Melissa and her portrayal of sea witch Ursula.

Halle Bailey and Awkwafina got revenge on Melissa McCarthy at the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards held at Microsoft Theater on Saturday evening (March 4) in Downtown Los Angeles.
The Little Mermaid stars presented an award during the show, but first, they dunked their co-star in a giant tank filled with over 1,500 gallons of slime.

“Of course, I burst out crying,” Halle told The Face about learning she booked the role. “I did not believe it. I still honestly don’t.”

The company continued their 100th anniversary celebrations by sharing the new look at the movie, 100 days before it hits theaters.

Rob Marshall is dishing on his upcoming live action Disney movie!
The Oscar-nominated director’s next project is The Little Mermaid with Halle Bailey in the titular role of Ariel.
In a new interview, he shared an update on the movie, saying, “I’m very excited to be finishing up after four-and-a-half years. It’s a long time.”
He also added that this is the most challenging film he’s done.
